Dr. Carmichael specializes in general and cosmetic dentistry for the whole family to include crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, porcelain veneers, extractions, root canals, whitening, and treatments of gum disease. Conveniently located on 30 Norwich Road (Route 32) in Quaker Hill (Waterford), our practice is made up of well-​trained professionals who work together to bring you the highest quality dental care in a warm, caring setting. We participate with most insurance companies and offer Care Credit financing.

Business Owner

A native Long Islander, Paul Carmichael, D.D.S., received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. His educational background includes post-​graduate training at Waterbury Hospital Health Center and a Bachelor of Science degree from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. A member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Carmichael believes in keeping abreast of the latest dental techniques through diligent reading of professional journals and publications. He also devotes his time to continuing dental education courses. Dr. Carmichael’s favorite part of his job, however, is his patients; he enjoys their many stories, jokes, journeys, children, adventures, and antics! Beyond work, Dr. Carmichael cherishes time with his wife and two children, enjoying all his kids’ activities and the great outdoors!
