We live in Olympia and had them come install A/​C and a new thermostat for our home. They are GREAT!!! The price was very reasonable especially considering all that had to be done. Juan and Kai showed up right on time and were very personable and knowledgeable. They were just fine working around our pets and they took the time to explain it all to me since I was not there where they came out to give us a quote. They took the time to lay tarps all the way from the door they used to enter the house all the way to the second floor where the attic access is. This company and their crew are just genuinely pleasant and great to do business with. Having the A/​C and new thermostat system put in is an ALL day job but having Jaun and Kai around was just fine. We are very pleased with Advanced Filter and Mechanical, Inc. and would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future!

I have had the best experience with events filter and mechanical. The woman that answers the phone has a great upbeat voice and is very kind and eager to serve. If you are on hold for a minutes she’ll come on and tell you it’ll just be a moment. Taylor who does the scheduling is extremely helpful I had to speak with her three or four times because it’s Mrs. I was having with scheduling and she was very eager to please. I had a technical question for the technician that service my heater and he called me from his cell phone while out in the field. I live above and beyond service and that’s what you get.

Wow, Pierce County has some really sour folks based on these reviews, or their expectations are way too high. We hired Advanced Filter to replace an old furnace in our house. I worked with Nar, at first. He was so friendly, knowledgable, and catered to my schedule. He was always prompt to respond, even after hours. The installers were friendly, and thorough. They took care and time explaining what needed to be done by me after the install. They showed me how to operate the system and provided suggested maintenance. There was one issue and that was that they had accidentally gotten epoxy on my carpet since the furnace is in the hallway it was a small space so I understand why it happened, but still problematic. I got in touch with Dave, the owner, and he was friendly, and even came over to inspect the damage. We had a carpet cleaner look into it, but he determined the carpet would need to be changed. Dave took responsibility for the mistake without any push back and immediately arranged to have the carpet replaced that was damaged. So, despite the unfortunate spillage on the carpet the overall experience was above and beyond what I would see from other companies. Most other construction companies will try to fight this type of thing and not take responsibility. The furnace install was clean and overall I’m satisfied. I will probably hire them again in the future.

I spent $ 11K with them. They installed the wrong sized heat pump/​air handler in my house and fought me for two years in trying to straighten out the situation. Go with any other Lennox dealer, not these guys!

I want to give them 5 stars because everything went great. How ever at the end when tech was showing me what they did he said he could show me how set it up on a timer for when I wake up in the morning and just as I get home from work. He was rather insistent on specifically asking to show me how to set it up when I was away at work. I told him several times I was fine and that I can figure it out but he still asked to show me how to set it up so its warm when I got him. Thats a red flag to me, especially after someone has seen the inside of my house.
If he really wanted to show me he could pick some arbitrary time and use that.
Maybe it was just that worker and not the entire company, I dont know. The other guy with him seemed nice. It still reflects poorly on the company.

I don’t normally due reviews on Day 1 without having time to fully assess my new ductless heat pump but I am so impressed with my experience so far that I wanted to get the word out. My experience started in August when Jesse came to our home to do an estimate and talk to me & my Husband about our needs in a heating/​cooling system. Professional, informative, answered all questions and all around great customer service. There was a small glitch with Home Depot where the transaction initiated and Jesse took care of it right away and apologized even though the glitch was my fault, not his. The crew that showed up this morning is just fantastic. Polite, professional, clean, hard workers. I could hardly tell they were here except for the noise that one can expect from having a heat pump installed. Jim the electrician completed his side of things and explained everything that he did and why and showed me what i need to know should a problem arise. James, Juan and Kai are just three fantastic installers. I have NO DOUBT in my mind that if I do experience any problems with the unit that Advanced Filter and Mechanical will take care of it. I highly recommend this company over competitors for 3 reasons: Affordable, Professional, & thorough. Great job guys.

I understand there is always room for miscommunication. I just find it hard to believe that you will not listen to your customers and validate their experience. I see a definite pattern of replying to dissatisfied customers and displacing blame.

Wow… Really? That is not at all how it happened., on top of it, to call the county and lie and say we have no permit? Very very unprofessional!

Let me say this, Jesse our sales guy was awesome, took great care of us and even tho it took till almost 11:30 at night to finish the paperwork due to me working late. They came out and installed a xp25 system, worth every penny all the installers were great. Could not say enough good about my experience.

My Furnace went out last month but I have alternate means of heat. I called a guy to come out to my house from I think Advanced Heating or Advantage heating and cooling (I apologize that I don’t have his info) Anyways he came to my house for about 10 min poked and tested some stuff and told me I needed a new Furnace, wrote me a bill for $ 147 and an almost $ 3000 quote on a furnace. Then I called around and Another company «MM Comfort Systems» quoted me $ 2100 before taxes but they never called me for an appt. and I had to keep on following up with them. Apparently they don’t need my business. Then I got a hold of Home Depot and they scheduled Jesse Kelpszas. This young man came to my house, assessed the situation, did a poke, prod, and adjustment in about 5 min and fixed my Furnace. He did say I would be needed one sooner than later due to the age and bad quality of my furnace but I couldn’t believe that the first guy said I needed a new one and not to use mine. Then Jesse gave me three competitive quotes and like I said fixed my Furnace. FREE!!! If and when It goes out Advanced Filter has earned my trust and business. It is nice to know that there is still companies out there putting customers first. If anyone is looking for a furnace I would trust Advanced Filter/​Jesse Kelpszas.

I had a great experience with Advanced. The sales guy was on time, knowledgeable, friendly, NOT PUSHY, and gave me plenty of options to choose from. Once we decided to pull the trigger on our selected heat pump everything was processed in a timely manner and the job was complete before we knew it! The install guys were very friendly and to be honest fun to have around our home. I was very impressed with their craftsmanship and quality of work. I might mention also that Advanced was very competitive on price as well. Very satisfied and would totally recommend these guys to anyone looking for heating and cooling equipment for their home!

Readers, I just wanted to take a moment and Thank Advanced Filter & Mechanical for the OUTSTANDING job they did putting in a New Heat Pump & Furnace for my mom. I would highly recommend this Company over any other HVAC business. They not only put in a system that was afforadable (for seniors), but, put in Quickly. This was one of the best experiences I have had working with Dave and the staff of Advanced Filter & Mechanical.

We were charged $$ for a problem that was never solved. We were previous customer that bought a new furnace and tankless water heater from them. We even referred them to family, neighbors and my clients. We have never had an issue with their service until now.
The customer service and quality of their techs seems to have diminished once you become an existing customer. This is not how a business should be treating their customers that has spent $$ with them within the last few years and has referred them. Now when friends, co-​workers, family and neighbors as for referrals, this company will recommended as one NOT to call!
