History
Established in 1982.
By Rich Mainolfi who was an avid fly fisherman and tier from CT. He loved fishing the Salmon River NY so much that he had to have a piece of it. He built the business as a specialty fly shop but realized that there was a demand for terminal tackle and heavy duty salmon fishing equipment. Rich died in 8⁄01 and Dawn Rucando purchased the business in 8⁄02. After 5 years of «You Keep It Clean & We Keep It Free», Dawn decided to privatize her property and keep it soley for her lodging and guided trip guests due to the littering of many ignorant anglers. If size matters to you and details count, trust Dawn because the only thing she overlooks is the World Famous Salmon River NY in downtown Pulaski New York! Daughter of a hunter, fisher, and self taught taxidermist, Dawn was exposed to the outdoors by her father and taught how to be hard working and self sufficient by both her parents. Dawn is outgoing, out spoken, and not afraid to tell you like it is. You can expect fairness and 110% of the real deal. Dawn owns, runs, and manages every aspect of her business with the help and assistance of her hand picked river drift boat guides and lake charter captains. She demands details and the best fishing trips with clean & comfortable lodging and the «Local Lowdown» to ensure her guests get what they’re looking for.
