History

Established in 1988.

The 1880 House was a tired old victorian that had been neglected for years. It was renovated and turned into a lovely B & B where guest can come and enjoy the comforts of the 1880 House and feel at home.

As owner of the 1880 House for 22 years I feel very experienced in making our guests feel at home. Relax, put your feet up and enjoy the ambiance of our home. Help yourself in the kitchen, have a cup of coffee, tea, juice, or milk anytime. Bring in your own drink of choice and enjoy your cocktail in the living room, family room or out on the terrace overlooking the Salmon River. Over 90 percent of our business is repeat, which I feel is due to making our guest feel like they are at home. We cater to the comforts and needs of our guest, and when they leave, they have left as a friend.
