The Egis Group

I have recently contacted these guys to help with my business needs. They have found a number of ways that we can save money and amazed us with their suggestions. I worked with a gentleman named Mark Siegel. I can’t stress enough how professional and caring he was. I will be using these guys from now on to help keep our costs in line. Thanks Mark.

I was introduced to the Egis Group by a referral and have been working with them for a few years. They offer an array of services and seem to be very well connected in the RI community. In my opinion, figuring out which insurance and how much I need is not my most fun task, but incredibly important, and I feel like they offer a personal, hands-​on approach to my insurance needs. They help remind me of my annual enrollments and offer ideas and suggestions of things I might change.
I love that the Egis Group is a family run, local Rhody business and they’ve been around for nearly 30 years.

Run far, far away and find another agent. If I could give this company zero stars I would. I am actively seeking another agent and will be switching ASAP.
If I listed all the things that have gone wrong because someone is not paying attention, or just doesn’t give a hoot, this review would be a book. It has taken me two months to change my address with my small, individual renter’s policy, and to change my car insurance policy to another carrier, and neither change is complete yet. Their agents have treated me like I am a bother, and even accidentally included me on an email that outright stated «Can you handle this? I can’t even deal with this girl.»
If I knew the ins and outs of insurance I would just buy it direct and not pay a middle man. The intent of having an agent is for you to be able to rely on someone to handle insurance questions and changes for you easily, smoothly, and quickly. I caught two separate errors in the forms they created for me and they had to send me new forms twice. The other day I received my new policy in the mail directly from the Egis Group and it included someone else’s as well. So much for privacy? Today I contacted them and learned that they lost the form I personally dropped off at the office three weeks ago, yet no one reached out to me. Everything is reactive instead of proactive as it should be — that’s why we pay them?! Apparently if you’re not big business these folks don’t care about you.
Egis Group: I apologize for asking questions and trying to be an informed consumer and not just signing where you tell me to, but you should be ashamed at the lack of customer service I have received.
