I had such a great experience here! After going to a bunch of places to get quotes and feeling like I was burdening people just asking about tires, i really appreciated how helpful Will was when I called. He was so kind and patient and reccomended great tires. Don did a great job putting them on (and whoever else helped him!) and they balanced them and everything and it was very quick and affordable!!! Thank you Bennys! When i need my other two tires replaced ill be back! So happy i wont have to look around next time!

Five stars for Benny’s! I was super impressed with the cleanliness, organization and ease of shopping at this spot — it has just about everything you could need for your vehicles (new tires, leather wipes and even a full range of fluids!) and then some.
While I haven’t actually been here for repairs or services, we did pop in for (of all things) a fluid funnel and when we asked where to find them, the cashier walked us over and blew us away with all the options. Add to that the remarkable prices, and this was a very successful trip indeed!
I now know where to go for car trinkets, tools and essentials — excellent once again, Benny’s!

Just took my car in for an oil change. The staff was super friendly and I got out of there for $ 27! I will definitely be back in a few thousand miles!

Came here as my tires were way past due to be replaced. Great service, straight to the point. No attempts to upsell, no «while we were down there we noticed X needs to be replaced» (that doesn’t actually need to be replaced) tactics you often find at other places, no sneaky extra fees that aren’t mentioned until bill time. I came in, I knew what I wanted — and got what I wanted, no extra BS included.
After my experience with Firestone up the road (horrible — very sales focused, no one there cares about the customer only the $$), I will definately be coming to Benny’s for all my auto needs from now on.

I’ve never experienced such a smooth visit anywhere else for an oil change. It was so quick, and I was not approached for any ancillary expenses. I appreciated the straightforward, honest business. My only complaint is that the employee was not exactly customer friendly and spoke by mumbling almost incoherently. I’ll be sure to return here for regular car upkeep and, I don’t know, eat some cheap Skittles while waiting.

What a great and honest repair shop! I’ve taken my car in several times (including getting an oil change, fixing a light, etc), and I’ve never been let down. Friendly staff, quick service, and a nice waiting area with coffee. They’ve even done minor adjustments (such as fixing my tire pressure) completely free of charge. I’m so used to being ripped off at places like Firestone and PepBoys, so Benny’s honesty is such a pleasant surprise.

I got an oil change and had them look at something making noise on the back axle. They were nice, honest and helped me address the noise. I’ll definitely go back and the prices were very reasonable!

I don’t think I will go anywhere else to get my car looked at. I originally had my car at Firestone across the street who told me I needed to change 3 parts in addition to the alignment that I only went in for. Quoted me close to 900 for parts and labor. Also told me I needed a new rim and tire. I was shocked, and got all the parts and info and called Bennys. They asked my car and told me to call back to get the quote. To my surprise, they quoted me over 500 LESS than Firestone. Just to put my mind at ease, I called FS back to double check on their costs and let them know Benny’s. They were convinced Benny’s was wrong. Luckily, they weren’t. I brought my car in to them and even for a deal on an oil change too! This morning I got a call from Jason who I’ve been in touch with at Benny’s and he had even better news! I only needed one part changed and the alignment with the rim, and not all 3. So now I will only need to pay less than 250 for all of the work that was quoted from FS at almost 900.
Jason was extremely helpful all day yesterday and even better today! They have AMAZING customer service and best prices I’ve ever seen. They care about the customer and less about just making a buck. I won’t go anywhere else and will always have this story to tell to people now!

Love this repair shop! They are really honest which is hard to come by with auto repair places. I have been here 2 times and will come back for all of my car needs!

They were quick. I was in and out with in 15 or 20 minutes to get a brake light replaced and it was just $ 11.70. For someone like me with no automotive knowledge Benny’s is great, they got this stuff down. Doesn’t hurt either that I’m with in walking distance from them so waiting around for me, gotta love that.

Came here for my oil change today and they were awesome.
I’m pretty sure they got me in and out in less than 15 minutes. I dropped off my car and signed the papers, walked over to Walgreens on the corner to buy a new toothbrush, walked across the street to buy a coffee at the Shell station, and by the time I got back, the job was already done. No unexpected charges or up-​selling.
The guys working there were charming and funny — made me smile.
They also asked me what KIND of oil I wanted in my car, which… okay, it’s all the same to me, but if you have a preference for that kind of thing, apparently this is the place to go! I’ve never been asked that before!
Will definitely go back.

Oh Mary Mother of God I am amazed that with Walmart and Target shutting down mom and pop places left and right that Benny’s is able to stay afloat.
I use to go to the one in Cumberland (it closed down and is now a gym I think) and I can remember getting my first real bike there and having Steve (the salesman) telling me to try it out before I bought it and I slammed into a row of about 20 bikes and knocked them all over. My father wanted to kill me and I almost pissed in my pants laughing. I can remember buying my first Walkman with the tape player there. Wow I feel old right now!
It is a great place to go if you are looking for something and you know all other stores are out of it… chances are Benny’s will have it there. Its nice to see that they are still here, alive and kicking. Plus the customer service you get there is amazing

I’ve been going to Benny’s since I was kicking in my momma’s tummy and it has never let me down.
When I first moved into my apt. in Providence, I realized that I didn’t really own anything I needed to survive and was able to come here and buy nearly all of the necessities to maintain a home. Trashcans, duplicate set of keys, cleaning fluids, bird house (obviously an essential), x-​mas lights, toothbrush, extension cords, etc. I could go on.
One of the greatest purchases I ever made was the Chia Herb Starter Set. Amazing. Just water (with watering can from Benny’s in Wakefield), throw on that portable radio (electronics section), sit your butt down in that lawn chair (on display out front) and relax. Before you know it, you’ll have some fresh basil!

Two words «DON’T GO», of course unless you consider inept service and rude but equally inept managers a good way to spend time and money. Then try complaining to their corporate offices and you basically get the same. Buy your tires elsewhere. I wish I had known this initially, had I, my tires would be awesome and I wouldn’t have had to spend more money elsewhere (Town Fair Tire — subtle hint here. Actually go anywhere BUT Benny’s).

has a little bit of everything from households to electronics to car care to grills to you name it… they have it. It can not be stated enough how good the service is… when you ask someone in the front of the store where something is, they WALK you to it, not just shrug and say «over there» and point. I’m a big fan and will continue to shop there…

Benny’s is always worth the trip. We went in with a very odd shopping list and they had every single item and we were helped by super friendly and helpful people. We needed Windshild wiper blades, cat food, shoe laces, Jet Dry, and some keys. They not only had all of these things but actually showed us where they were in the store. Each department had a helpful worker who knew about what it was they were selling. This is not something yo will ever find in one of those huge big box stores. It is like stepping back in time to an era where customer service was a working concept. I watched a guy help and old lady into her car with her purchases. He seemed happy to do it. It was his job! Polite friendly helpful and reasonably priced adjectives one rarely uses anymore when discussing a store! I wish I could give them 6 stars!
