Star of the Desert Arena At Primm Valley Resorts

I dont understand why there are only 2 reviews for this place making it 3 with this one. Im pretty sure this arena has been here for a while now. I bet its because of the 45 minute drive coming here and going home that makes most Unilocalers forget about checking into here.
Located inside Buffalo Bill’s Casino in the town of Primm (most people know it as stateline Primm), you cannot miss this casino from the freeway for the giant yellow roller coaster is it’s major recognizable landmark. Parking here kind of sucks because the front of the casino does not have a big enough lot for part of it is already taken up by the valet. There is additional parking in the back.
Shows I have seen here are Sinbad, Earth Wind and Fire, and just recently an old school reunion of Midnight Star, Club Noveau, Kid n Play, and Tony Toni Tone. All shows I went to I had decent seats but honestly you have good views just about anywhere you are in the arena.
As for the sound system, eh it wasnt all that spot on. Sometimes you got feedback on several songs so that was kind of an annoyance but not enough to ruin a good time.
Some useful info. Sometimes these guys have ticket and hotel specials. The Earth Wind and Fire concert I got a room that night along with two tickets for 60 bucks. Now that was a good deal. This was about 5 years ago so im not sure if they are still doing that. Like most venues, they wont allow you to bring anything that is in a glass so they provide plastic cups as you enter.
Overall, I dont mind the 45 minute drive here especially if its for any number of great entertainers. Just make sure that you are not too tired or buzzed to make that drive home.

This is one of the best venues to come and see a concert every seat is a good seat. You would never think that this huge stadium is inside of Buffalo Bills hotel and casino, i believe it holds 6000 ppl, i started coming here for shows 3 years ago. They host the best concerts, ive seen Boyz to Men, MCHammer, Gladys Knight, Snoop Dogg or Lion, Temptaions, Four Tops, Chaka Khan, Frankie Beverly & Maze and more. They also have comedians the Wayans were here about 2 months ago, country singers Kenny Rogers was here and Dolly Parton will b here next weekend. Monster truck shows, Muay Thai, Ramon Ayala, Art LaBoe Love Jam’s, u get what im saying something for everyone. Last night for my bday i saw OJays for the first time WONDERFUL show. O yeah and they let u bring n your own alcohol as long as its not n glass, they even have a person standing at the door with cups to transfer ur drinks how f** cool is that. Not too big not too small. This arena gets some big names to play here. I have seen over 20 shows here. They used to have boxing, Muay Thai, and mma events here.
3 stars for the hour long drive and the gross food and limited drinks.
