I would really recommend anyone who is looking for aromatic, thick layered, cheesy pizza. Never had such awesome pizza in New yOrk for 2 years. I am glad I came here.

LOVE the NY Style pizza, I always have since I was a kid! I always seem to get the same kind of pizza tho, NY style, mozzarella, green peppers, and onions… yumm! And the onion rings were delicious too!

I should have used the common sense my mother taught me. When you go to a place that calls itself a pizza place you should stick with the pizza. I ordered a chicken parm grinder and it was pretty good. That’s the positive. Now for the negatives. My girlfriend ordered a chicken quesadilla. It was made with CHEESEWHIZ! How gross is that. Also my friend ordered a rotisserie chicken breast with fries and the meal was uneatable. The chicken tasted like a failed attempt at making jerky and the fries were dark brown soggy and tasted of old dirty oil. My advise is don’t stop here. Keep going there are more places just down the road.

This restaurant is not even worth 1 star I had to give them to be able to write a review. A group of nine of us went for breakfast after a night at the casino and boy was it a mistake! Once we walked in the lady standing in the front did not even acknowledge that we were even there as she was too busy«gossiping» on the phone until we asked her where we should sit! After finally receiving menus after being seated for 10 minutes we waited about another half an hour until 3 people from our group got up and walked out. We then went up to kindly ask for some service in which we were given attitude.(This all happening before our drink orders were even taken) Once our orders were taken we waited another 15 – 20 minutes for a few sodas and waters. At one point another woman who was clearly a regular at the place(the waitresses knew her well) turned around and said«I really hope you guys aren’t that hungry!» Once we received our food a couple of the orders were wrong and subpar at most! I never knew a simple egg sandwich could take so long to make as well as taste so bad. Needless to say, after spending over an hour at this place for a simple breakfast we will NEVER be returning.

Fantastic all around slice of pizza! Crispy, percent cheese on bottom sauce on top. Stop here before you go to Foxwoods! Excellent breakfast too! Cheap!

Oh MY! My husband and I were down for our anniversary weekend. We decided to find a meal that wasn’t «casino expensive» before we headed to Foxwoods. THE. BEST. PANINI. EVER. Roast beef and horseradish… so so so good. Husband got a chicken cutlet sub and was equally impressed.

I was visiting the area for a conference at Foxwoods, but chose to leave the casino specifically to eat at Rena’s. I saw the restaurant when I drove by in the morning. I was hoping to eat at a local establishment, but service drove me away before I had a chance. I cannot comment on the food because of the racists comments by the female server, I lost my appetite and left.

We were in Preston deciding on dinner and saw Rena’s. I was skeptical but we stopped. The antipasta was ok andcthe homemade dressing was delicious. We ordered a pizza with roasted garlic, onions and sausage. The 18 inch New York style pizza was perfect. The crust was crunchy with plenty of toppings and flavorful homemade sauce. What a pleasant surprise.

We stopped to get food on our way to the casino… BADMOVE! Homemade soup had bugs in it. Not a couple, hundreds. We were skeeved. When we brought it to the waitresses attention her reply was, «We’ve been noticing they’ve(the bugs) have been coming in from the back!» She was NOT surprised at ALL! But offered to take it off the bill for us… Gee, thanks! RUNNINGJOKE: RENA’S DRAGONFLYSOUP! HAHA SERIOUSLY, BEWARE!

The short: This is a review of a taco salad. Disappointing to say the least. The Long: I was really in the mood for Taco Salad and when I saw they did a chicken version I was even more in the mood. That mood, far from satisfied. What I got wasn’t like any Taco Salad I’ve had in 30 yrs. It wasn’t like any loaded nachos or even like any taco pizza I’ve had. As I ate my «taco salad», the cheese threw me off because it wasn’t chedder or even jack. I swear it was mozzarella melted into a pile o cheese. It barely had any lettuce so I tried to change my thinking as i ate it. I tried to eat it thinking it was nachos, but the sauce threw me off(it may have been salsa but it tasted too close to a pizza sauce. I tried thinking of it as a taco pizza, but then the chips threw me off. I think I’ll try the pizza next time. Unless I get in the mood for a Taco Nacho Salad Pizza. By the way, that third star in the rating is for chicken that wasn’t cooked to dust.

Excellent greek pizza for an even better price. We fed 4 adults and had ¼ of the pie left over for the next day all for $ 16! Ordered an 18 inch extra cheese Greek pan style and it came out perfect! Crust was crispy yet airy and chewy inside. For an extra cheese it didn’t seem to have too much cheese on it so I would say that a regular cheese may not be enough if you like a good amount of cheese on your pie. I think a regular cheese would be more saucy than cheesy which I wouldn’t like so I am glad we went with extra-cheese!!! I am not much of a plain cheese pizza eater, I prefer lots of fun toppings but since it was a Friday in Lent, my choices were limited Sauce tasted nice and fresh and complimented the pie perfectly as it was the perfect amount. The table next to us ordered an antipasto salad that came out and was massive!!! So I’m guessing their portions are very generous! We have driven by this place many times and didn’t stop because there are never any cars in the parkling lot which always sends red flags… but this was a friday around 5pm and it was actaully busy so we must just drive by during off hours. So happy we stopped here and gave it a shot. This will be our go-to on our trips to Foxwoods!

I stopped here on my way to Misquamicut Beach since Rena’s is right on the side of the road. The service was good and the food came out very fast. I got the veal parm sub and my fiancée got a burger. We both loved our food. This is a good place to stop an grab a cheap and very yummy lunch.
