My husband and I went through the process of talking to several companies concerning solar needs for our home. I must say that this is quite an undertaking because when you are looking for a reputable solar company for such a major undertaking it can be quite exhausting and often confusing when you are not familiar with the product in that Industry. Well we struck gold! We decided on US Green mainly because of our Sales Representative, Ali Abazz. We did do our research on the company, which was very positive but Ali made an otherwise tedious venture, a easy one. His manner is very personable and he really took an interest in our particular needs. All questions were answered very up front and we got NO double talk. If he didn’t know the answer to a question, he immediately got on the phone to find out the answer! We were very pleased and comfortable with the product and the customer service we received from Ali and everyone within the organization from the start of the project to the very end. Again, we highly recommend contacting Ali Abazz for your solar needs!

I got artificial turf installed from U. S Green. The installation came out very well.
James (my rep) was very professional in guiding me all through the process and has a very good understanding of his work.
The installation was supposed to be done in 3 days but it ended up finishing in 2 weeks. It rained for a couple days in between but the contractors took up another job and I had to wait for them to be free. And all that time there was a huge pile of dirt left in front of my house which caused me problems and inconvenience for my neighbors and people in my street.
This is the only reason why they are not getting a 5 star flaw less review.

Just had US a Green install 800 sq. ft. of Synlawn 90 synthetic turf. One of the best investments I’ve ever made. No more watering, mowing or fertilizing. Saves me time and money. The installers did a great job and the turf looks so real. US Green had the best prices and customer service. If you’re in the market for turf, I highly recommend you call US Green Energy.

We got a Quiet Cool whole house fan installed and it was a great experience the whole way. I got estimates from another company that were comparable but USGreen came out to my house to give me my estimate (instead of a phone conversation and emailed quote) and spent time talking to me. They confirmed my install appointment the day before which is nice. The switch for the fan turned out to be bad (manufacturer problem) but they ordered a new switch and came back promptly to fix it. Their installers are super on top of things. They didn’t collect my payment until after the new switch was installed and called me to make sure it was working properly. Overall very good customer service which seems to be such a rarity these days.

I highly recommend Alex and his team of consummate professionals. They got me scheduled quickly and did a clean install. I am very happy with the location of the fan controls which they put right next to my AC thermostat and the clean look of the fan intake itself. I did my research and wanted a QuietCool system to save up to 90% off my energy bill. I found US Green off the QuietCool website link under «where to buy». I called a number of companies and decided to go with Alex who came out the next day and gave me a free quote. I found Alex to be personable and knowledgeable. He looked at my entire energy footprint and made recommendations on how I could improve my home and increase efficiency. We looked at everything, lawn, water recirculation, attic fan and of course the whole house fan. After looking at my home Alex assured me that I would get a big bang for my buck with the whole house fan. My only regret was that I didn’t do my solar with US Green. I will be calling Alex and US Green again when I get ready for my next project, a water recirculation pump.

We just had US Green install Synlawn 958 Turf. It looks great and the team that installed it were very professional, and did a great job. It looks so real. We also had them install a new Pentair Variable Speed Pool Pump. Both of these items were installed within the next week of signing the contract. We than had them remove an old whole house fan and install a new Quiet Cool Whole House Fan, and a Gable Fan. These guys are prompt, professional and reasonable. I usually don’t wright reviews but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to any of my neighbors.

I have been in the market for solar for the past couple of months because my monthly electric bills are out of control. After researching solar and the benefits I decided to contact as many solar companies in San Diego to see who had the best offer. I narrowed my search down to 5 companies and was not impressed with their lack of knowledge regarding their products let alone for what system would suit the needs of my home. 2 of the 5 representatives that I met were late to the appointment, 1 cancelled on me the night before and the other had horrible Unilocal reviews so I cancelled the appointment! I began to think that investing in solar was not for me until I met Ali. Ali was not only one time to our appointment and well-​dressed but knowledgeable about the product! He was the only company who was honest with me and did not sugar coat anything. Other companies tried selling me more than I needed and did not inform me that because I had clay roofing that it would a little more difficult and a little more time consuming then if I had asphalt shingle roof. Ali informed me right away of this and explained what would happen if they did not properly install the solar on my clay tile roof. He did not hold back any information of how the installation process works. I admire Ali’s knowledge, honesty and professionalism that no other solar representatives had. We ended up getting 12.400kw system and we love it! During one of our conversations I joked that I wished he sold turf which to my surprise U.S. green solar does as well. Now we have a beautiful 1300sq ft. turf yard that will keep green all year long. Since my purchase, 3 of my other friends and co-​workers have invested in solar with Ali. I would have paid double the price for the great customer service and knowledge that Ali had that the competitors lack. Thanks to Ali and his team our house is finally complete!

This is the Company I am going with to do my Solar, Roof, Solar Attic Vent, Tankless Waterheater, Energy Saving Windows, Front yard Turf, and Whole House Cooling System.
I’ve been working with Ali. He has been amazing. Answers all my questions. The best things have been he has been doing all the work to get me financed and has given me the best prices, while still using top quality materials.

Undoubtedly the worst customer service experience I have had with a company.
It is hard for me to believe that the 5-​star people are reviewing the same company I am.
It took 6 months to install 11 panels on my carport. Substantial completion was originally planned for early November, 2014. That was later pushed back to mid-​December. Then, pushed back again. They finished in early March, 2015.
They were unresponsive to emails and phone calls throughout the ordeal (taking as many as 12 days in one case to respond to email). However, on days when they wanted payment I would receive multiple emails and phone calls. It was extraordinary how available the owner was when money needed to be collected… and how unavailable anyone else was for anything, ever (the exception being a worker named Rudy, who was always polite and pleasant when he came out.)
There were numerous instances of incompetence. They drew up plans for my solar system on someone else’s roof (and vice-​versa), sending us each other’s plans. They left a half-​finished panel installation and dirt pile in my yard for 6+ weeks before coming out to clean things up. They messed something up with SDG&E, but were not at all transparent with what had happened.
Promises were continuously made and broken in a way that was extraordinarily unprofessional. The owner’s son, Alejandro, was the worst at this. The result was that, for several months, I was always led to believe that they were almost done. By January, I just gave up expecting anything to ever get done properly.
The installed system was supposed to produce 100% of our electricity and appears to be closer to 60−70%. Calculations they made were based on an angled panel install, but the panels were installed flat. Do your own research. My biggest mistake was trusting their calculations, and speaking with only three companies. I trusted US Green based on Unilocal reviews and a neighborhood message board where they were recommended.
In fairness, they did end up paying two months of my electric bill. However, it took a lot of prodding for me to get them to admit any fault and offer any kind of compensation. I was never convinced that my horrible experience was unique. It just seemed like they way things go with them. Perhaps my install was too small for them to pay much attention to.

We LOVE our home solar energy. This is our second year with our system and again our SDG&E bill shows a credit. For our family of 5 our SDG&E bill was out of control. Alex came by and showed us how to make our home more efficient. A big energy drainer for us was the pool pump. Just replacing the pool pump was saving us $$ each month. But it was converting to solar that made the huge impact. Alex is very knowledgeable and explained the best solar package for our needs. It was a ‘no brainer’. It was an easy process and US Green is a company of integrity with a great product. Give Alex a call you have nothing to lose and all to gain!

We did some shopping around for solar for our house and had varied experiences on pricing and explanations. The best came from US Green. Also, one of our neighbors used US Green and was very satisfied, so that added to our level of confidence. The work was fast, neat and clean. Alex is a great guy and will do anything in his power to take care of you if you have questions, problems, whatever. In fact, we had a problem we thought was solar related. It turned out not to be, but Alex was all over it. We highly recommend these folks!
