Some things seem pricy but there are also great bargains to be found here. Definitely worth a look through.

I really love this place. I’ve found a lot of good stuff here. Children’s books are 25 cents, but sometimes they have discounts on items that are tagged with a different color so I have purchased tons of books for 12 cents. I’ve found lots of goodies here as well. It’s good that my work is nearby. I mostly come to this thrift center to find books for my class, I always find them at a good price!!! Also good for arts and craft stuff.

Terry at St. Michaels thrift shop is the real thing. He is genuinely nice, honest, and will get you what you need at a fair price, especially if you also get to know the shop by donating! I have learned that we never«own» anything — it all belongs to God — and our possessions come and go. That’s why I shop at St. Michaels. And when I’m tired of it, I donate it back! It’s kind of like«renting» vintage stuff!

«I ain’t too proud to shop» at a thrift store. This whole strip mall is a religious flea market for selling donated goods. I do come here, but the experts know the right days to show up for the best deals. I’ve purchased several books for my kids here. As I’ve said before, you could hit up seven of these thrift places in an hour so why make a day of it and have some lunch in Poway too?

Located in a shopping center with many other thrift stores, St. Michael’s is my favorite in the area(though the Salvation Army down the road is also nice). The store is well-organized and prices are very fair. Kid’s books 25 cents. Unique items in good condition. The staff is friendly and seem to be happy working there!
