Sea Breeze Glass

This is the second time I’ve gone hear first, being a little loyal to local Poway businesses, but both were huge fails. This group just doesn’t seem to like do-​it-​yourselfers. The gal seemed annoyed that she had to step out to my van to measure for an estimate and she quoted $ 265 for 2 window sashes that needed the glass replaced. A place in Mira Mesa was glad to see me and did the job for $ 107 in 45 minutes.

We converted a tub into a walk-​in shower and hired Sea Breeze to do the glass enclosure. Dave came out and spent a good deal of time going over, in fine detail, all the possible design and material options. He went over all the pros and cons of every detail and made careful recommendations, all of which I followed. He fielded all my questions and concerns with real interest, and I was able to make truly informed decisions. And, in the end, the final product was absolutely perfect. Thanks again, especially to Dave!

Brandi!!! She is amazing. She is absolutely the best customer representative I have ever worked with. Long story short — glass broke, I needed to fix it. She tracked down a year old invoice and was able to help me out in less than 48 hours. The glass panels kept arriving damaged but Brandi kept me in the loop and was frequently communicating. I really appreciated this level of community service. I would recommend this place to anyone! There install guys (i had two different sets, one who took the broken piece down, and one who set up the new stuff), both of them were awesome, professional, timely, and quick! they were also awesome!

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I went into the store and requested a quote based on some rough measurements and, and waited two weeks for them to call me back and they never did. I called them back and asked why they never called me back and that I wanted to speak with the owner, «Sonja» took my name and telephone number and no one called me back. I waited 2 days for a call back and I called back a 3RD TIME and spoke to «Danielle» their manager and she said she was busy and did not get a chance to call me. I think who ever the owner is needs to educate his employees on customer service. This is the worst service I have ever received! I honestly have HUGE order and was hoping to work with Sea Breeze because I also live close by… FORGET IT… DO NOT USE! They do not follow through, they do not call back, and I highly doubt that the owner will even get my message.

All of the different varieties of glass designs are amazing and they each have a cutting edge elegance to each of their designs. My favorites are the CROCO– 4 MM glass, BAMBOO – 5MM, & the RAIN GLASS 3/​16″. Except the price on an overall item is a bit expensive.

I thought Seabreeze did a fantastic job on my windows, I had a condensation and fogging issue and was able to get my windows replaced quickly. The guy that came out was very polite and courteous, I don’t like having workers in my house especially while its just myself and them, but he was excellent, he made small talk and made me feel at ease almost immediately. Not only would I recommend Seabreeze to everyone but they are definitely going to be my go to with any of my glass needs. Thank you Seabreeze!

Seabreeze made brand new screens for ten big windows in my house. They used high quality materials and the screens have withstood my cats leaning/​climbing on them over the last year and a half. I’d highly recommend their services!

I had the best experience with Sea Breeze Glass Company in Poway. They were extremely accommodating and helpful with a broken window that I needed repaired. It was completed in one day! When I had another glass issue recently, Brandy was amazing and resolved my problem the same day! It is sometimes difficult to receive such good customer service but this company has it covered!

RUN… don’t walk… RUN from this business. Horrible quality, horrible customer service. Can’t follow instructions. Started of very nicely working with Sonja. I explained that I had wood windows and that matching of the wood stops was most important when replacing 3 fogged windows. She stated that they would replace with new and that their foreman was meticulous in exact matches. This was the reason I went with them. I also asked for the just the bottom window stops on 3 more windows to be replaced as the wood had degraded over the years. First, they broke 2 of the 3 windows putting them in and had to get replacements… no problem. But when I came home that evening, they used wood stops that did not even come close to what was in there (rounded vs. rectangular) and they replaced all the stops on the other 3 windows instead of just the bottom as instructed (I assume since they didn’t match the stops as promised). Plus they broke another window replacing stops they weren’t supposed to.
I talked to Sonja and she said they would fix everything and would make the correct stops themselves. A week went by and I went in to speak with the owner about the job. he was attacking me from the very beginning saying the stops were close enough and they only use what Lowes has to offer. Then asked me if I knew where to get matching stops. I said no, that’s why I came to someone that promised to match and if they couldn’t match, why did they say they could and take the job. Then the owner started telling me what a piece of sh*t my house was since I had used wood filler on the windows where the wood had degraded. I said that was the reason I wanted those stops replaced ON THE BOTTOM ONLY because of the wood rotting, but all the other damage they caused would not have happened if they had followed instructions. The owner became more hostile and finally just walked from the job leaving me stuck with all the damage his team caused. He did refund the 50% deposit I had paid, but it cost me more to fix the damage they caused then the original job was supposed to cost.
And by the way, after I left these «experts», I was able to find the exact match of my original window stops within an hour. So these guys either don’t care about quality as they say, or they just are not competent in their craft… my opinion is both.
They also left me with trampled plants, broken sprinklers, and broken landscape lighting to replace. I know others rave, but in my case, these guys are the worst I have ever dealt with. Take it as one opinion, but you have been warned.

We contracted with Sea Breeze to remodel our small bathroom recently. They were very helpful, friendly, and professional. We converted an outdated shower to a new glass one and it looks great and we have not had any problems with it. Sea Breeze recommended Creative Tile San Diego to do the tile work on the walls and floor and that was done very professionally as well. We are very pleased with the outcome and would use Sea Breeze /​Creative Tile San Diego again in the future.

I really have to give this company 2 thumbs up. Every step of the process was handled efficiently and with class. My questions about style, layout, and hardware were answered by the office staff and with some of the more technical questions, the installers were available to explain in detail.
The installation team was prompt, professional, clean, and efficient. During the install a tile was broken, caused by improper tile work many years back, but Sea Breeze made it right and found a replacement tile, replaced it, and it looks perfect.
Although the installation took a little longer than expected, it was worth it.

Absolutely fantastic. I brought in 2 standard house windows that needed new glass and they had them ready in an hour. Very professional, but friendly and down to earth. Highly recommend. Office staff is great. They go the extra mile.

We had a couple of problems in moving into a recently purchased home in Poway California. Initially, we needed to rep[lace a dual payne sliding door that was broken. after talking with Jana, she promptly had a technician go to the home and measure the glass. She contacted me immediately following and was able to place the ‘special’ order. much to my surprise two days later, she called me to schedule the installation. Two days later the service tech came and was professional, personable, and very efficient with the project.
A few days later, we discovered a payne of glass that was cracked, so again I called Sea Breeze. It was early in the morning and they sent a technician to measure the glass. While there he removed the broken glass and replaced it in short order! He possessed all of the characteristics that anyone would desire in doing the job. Again, high praises … they are simply fantastic!
I would recommend them without hesitation. They understand cutomer service … and are highly proficient in rendering their services.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Sea Breeze on a couple occasions and have been pleasantly surprised by their great customer service. Even though my job was a small one, they accepted it cheerfully and did an excellent job.
I would recommend them for any of your Glass and Construction needs.

Found Sea Breeze as an authorized installer/​dealer for in glass sliding dog doors.
Yes there is such a thing, no more dog door panel stuck between the real glass door and frame. They were straightforward, clean and prompt.
This was a great investment and they are an excellent company to work with.
