I have gone to several optometrists in the past and I have found her services are the best I have experienced. Her staff is friendly too. I never had to wait a long time in the waiting room either. Dr. Rhodes always answered my questions and provided me with the best professional care I have ever had. Her office is conveniently located in the Poway Costco where I shop.

I had an eye exam and was ok with it. It seems pretty basic but they do not push you into getting more than what you are willing to pay. Thanks to the Dr. I was correctly diagnosed and able to fix my problem. Very affordable but appointments take a long time to get. Very few spots available and finally your contacts and glasses take long. Go for the price but expect ugly office and environment.

I dread getting an eye exam. The waiting and all the hassle that comes with– filling out forms and the actual eye exam — just dreadful. Do you want your pupils dilated or not? Is this for glasses or contacts? Is this better or the first? Click on this or that… it’s all an annoyance to me… but annoyances which must be done — for EYE health. Seeing is everything, after all. Well, I had a great«eye exam» experience at Dr. Rhodes. She definitely gets a wink and a smile from this gal! I came in, filled out the form(no waiting), and was seen right away. Dr. Rhodes was quick to maneuver through the procedure. I received my prescription, headed to Costco optical(located right outside her office) and ordered my new pair of glasses and contacts. As Karl B. stated… Dr. Rhodes office is inside Costco(costs included in his review — awesome job remembering all those figures Karl!!!).

This is located inside the Costco and next to the optical center. I had no problems here, except that their exam price is high at $ 95. I also had to schedule an appointment and the soonest opening was one week away. They don’t sell contacts or frames, but just walk a few steps to Costco Optical where prices seem affordable. $ 140 for a year of contacts and $ 200 total for my frames & lenses. You don’t need a Costco card for the exam, but you do need that card for purchasing at Costco optical.
