I won’t go to any other salon to get my ombré done! They do an amazing job & have amazing customer service.

So I didn’t get to get the girls name but she was the youngest one there I went today with 3 of my friends and she did a really good job on my eye brows. Idk why this other lady had to finish them, I wish she could’ve finished mine. I love that she understands how painful it is and she takes her time but the lady that came after her started rushing with my brows I mean the lady that finished them also did a good job but i don’t like how she told her to go to another girls eye brows

If I could give no stars I would. I was referred to this salon and told they would be able to provide hair/​makeup at a reasonable price at a location of my request. Bennie took significant time sending pictures of her work indicating many women do not want to be photographed. At her request she asked for a deposit which was fine but it took her several days to locate the bank information. I reside near San Francisco so it was difficult to research the salon further. Bennie sent a different person to complete my makeup/​hair and my sister-​in-​laws, Farideh. She was on time and brought another women who assisted in handing her the curling iron and bobby pins. Farideh had very outdated equipment and her makeup was poor quality. By text she indicated I needed to have my own eyelashes which okay not a big deal but also my own glue for the eyelashes. She was shown pictures of the desired hairstyles and sad unable to achieve the looks. I had her redo my hair but was frustrated as it was over an hour at this point. Later I fixed it on my own because it was horrific. One sister-​in-​law she continually commented how she needed to tweeze her eye brows and didn’t complete her hair as she said it was to thick. She also made comments to her the look was not appropriate for a wedding. My other sister-​in-​law asked her to leave after making several inappropriate comments and was in tears. Bennie refunded my money after several days.

She is the best. I’m never concerned about the out come cuz whatever she does always turns out great. She is up-​to-​date on all the current styles and uses perfect products. The price is fairly.

Been going to Benni since the opening of Salon Smart .They for gr8 hours & a really clean store.
Benni is pretty great. She does listen to what I have to say and is not shy to tell her honest opinion… I love coming here. Their prices are also really fair. Good price along with great quality (can’t complain :)
I recently started getting my eyebrows done here & been extremely happy.

Been coming here for a few months now to thread my eyebrows and I definitely will never go anywhere else again! I’ve been all around San Diego and this is clearly the most knowledgeable place. They have advised me every visit on what I need to do and how often to come back, and my eyebrows have never looked better. My friends and family always compliment me on them and Benni convinced me to dye them this past time… best idea ever and I fully trust her with any suggestions she has.
Reasonably priced, friendly, super helpful… can’t ask for more. I hope to get my hair cut here in the future and will write a review once I do regarding that :)

One of my favorite Salons. I went here to get my hair colored. I was really worried since I had «Virgin Hair» but Benni made me feel comfortable and I ended up loving it. I already referred 5 of my girls and they all love this place… I’m going back for the Holidays!!! Thank you Benni!!!

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded every 3 weeks and love it. I decided to get my haircut and keratin treatment. The keratin treatment is really great — my hair is a lot smoother. But I have to say that was the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. They did long layers, which I’ve had before — but I dont know what it is about it, maybe they cut the lengths just perfect. I’m so happy with my new haircut! I love Benni and Salon Smart!

Came here to get my hair colored and cut and eyebrows threaded. Benni is the owner and hairdresser, she is wonderful and really knows what she is doing. Gave her a picture of the haircut I wanted and she did a superb job, it was exactly what I wanted and more. I’ve always wanted ombré hair and Benni did such a wonderful job, she really exceeded my expectations. I’ve never been so happy walking out of a salon getting exactly what I wanted. One of her partners did eyebrow threading and she did an excellent job! Im never going anywhere else to get my hair done and I hope Salon smart doesn’t go anywhere. Benni took her time doing my hair And happy she wasn’t rushing. she was working with me and another client and did a great job at multi tasking. You just have to be patient and I didn’t have anywhere to be that day so i didn’t mind her working with me and another client. Great work at Salon Smart check them out!

Benni is awesome! My mom and I get our hair cut and styled here. My mom’s color and highlights have never looked better. I love that she was trained in London and is up on the latest Toni and Guy cuts and styles. I have curly hair and was surprised to find out she also holds the Diva Curl certification. The salon is in a strip mall but you will be amazed that the inside matches any high end salon –modern and beautiful. The staff is super friendly — going above and beyond to make you feel pampered. The salon allows you to email or text for your next appt. or when you need to change. One of San Diego’s hidden gems.

Benni is great! I have gone to so many places to get the keratin treatment and none of them had any noticeable effect on my hair. But when Benni does the treatment, my hair is always considerably smoother and less frizzy and it costs almost half the price! I recently wanted to get my hair ombré’d so I went to Benni. My hair is dark brown (almost black) and I wanted it to subtly change from dark brown to a lighter brown to almost blonde. She did an incredible job for an equally incredible price! It looked so natural and so amazing; a month later, I’m still getting compliments. If you’re looking for great quality hair care at extremely low prices, seriously go to Benni.

Newly opened HAIR AND THREADING salon in Poway. Found this on accident after coming from lunch at Indian Kitchen next door. Brows are $ 8 or for $ 15: brows, lips and chin! After over 10 yrs of getting my brows threaded, this is the best price ive seen ever! I saw the $ 8 special at the door, walked in and Benni, who is both owner and lead hair stylist greeted me right away with a smile. Everything is brand new, spotless and well decorated. It felt so relaxing in there like a spa. They had a little TV embedded in the wall, playing music videos from Beyonces latest album. Benni put me with Vanoush for threading my brows, lips and chin and boy did she go above and beyond to make me feel comfy. First of all ive never seen any threadist put a towel on my chest. Its good to know that I wont find any fly away hairs on my clothes. Vanoush asked how I liked my brows and I told her thin, well-​defined to the natural arc. Well she did a damn good job. I was very pleased and didn’t ask her to make any adjustments. She used a straight edge when she cut my brows and even filled my brows – another first! Needless to say Ive already made my appointment with Vanoush for next month. Ladies, if you need your brows did this is the place to go!
