I came here by way of Unilocal and I am so happy with my haircut by Vicky!
There is a little placard in her workstation that says «I’m a beautician, not a magician», but I’m inclined to believe she might be both.
She sat with me before we got started, asked what I was looking to do with my hair and she listened. Great start for someone who is a little apprehensive about finding a new stylist to work with. I showed her a couple of pics of what I wanted and presto, my hair looks amazing!!!
She cut it the style I described as well and taking into consideration the way my hair naturally falls. I’m so excited about finding her and can now rest easy knowing she’s there for my haircare needs!

The owner is very nice and a good conversationalist. I got my hair cut on a walk in by a male stylist and he was excellent. I loved that he took the time for details, ensuring evenness and overall look.
My hair was hip length when I walked in, and shoulder length when I walked out! I definitely will come back here again, hopefully to try some shorter hairstyles and color! I would recommend calling ahead if you want to come in same day, because even though I didn’t have an appointment, Vicky let me know over the phone a good time to come in so I had no wait!

ask for hang! she cut, styled, dyed, and naturally highlighted my hair to perfection. now i’m rocking a messy asymmetrical bob along with my feminist agenda. great prices & super chill personalities in the salon.

It was first time for me to check out this place and my hairdresser’s name is Linh. She understood my thin limp hair and transformed into beautiful full looking hair with her cutting skills. When it was time to pay, I was pleasantly surprised by how low the price was compared to how beautiful my hair style turned out to be. No, the place doesn’t look like top notch high maintenance place for sure, but the style you’ll receive will be comparable to $ 100 haircut elsewhere. I highly recommend this place!

I stopped in after doing some business at the upholstery shop a few doors down. I asked if they could trim up my curly, straggly hair (no appointment). Hanna (I believe that was her name) immediately saw that I had been experiencing hair loss. She knew that some length needed to come off, but she reassured me that she would only take off as much as was needed and would keep as much length as possible.
She was friendly and cheerful, and she did a great job in less than 15 minutes. My hair looks much healthier — I should have done this long ago.
I’m so glad I stopped in — I’ll be back.

I love coming into his store the staff is always so friendly and I always feel so welcomed. Vicky is always willing to help and she always give me exactly what I ask for! Whether it’s just a cut or a color she is always willing to please!

Kim Pham is great. She keeps my hair style current but still professional. I’ve gone other places for less but I always regret it since they inevitably cut men’s hair the same way regardless of what you ask for. If you don’t want your cut to come off a menu («I’ll have the number #6 cut») visit Kim.

I wanted to have a fresh and brand new look on the day of the haircut, very spontaneous decision. I decided to go here for the first time, and Vicky took care of it without me making an appointment. I was amazed how she could basically do any hair style you want if you can describe it or show her a picture! Mine was short and simple, but all my friends loved it. I am very happy with my new image. Hahaha! Five star, way to go!

Vicky has been cutting my hair for a little over 3 years now. She recently did a highlight on my short hair, which turned out really nice. I’ve got tons of compliments from everybody … Very pleased and would recommend Vicky to any lady out there, especially Asian gals whose dark hair can be difficult to color.
By the way, my husband and our two kids get their hair cut here too, but they’re kinda easy to please as long as the price is right. For $ 10 and a nicely done haircut in 15 minutes how can anyone complain?

I went in this past Sunday to get my haircut on a whim. I was definitely tired of my long hair and thought it was time for a change. After looking into different hair salons on Unilocal I stumbled upon this place for it’s reviews, decent prices, and friendliness. I called the morning of to ask what time they closed that day and if they do walk-in’s. Then, I called back around 12:30pm that same day to ask if I could come around 2pm instead, and they welcomed me.
Upon pulling up to the salon, it definitely could use some tweakage here and there as far as the exterior of the place looks, as well as the interior. It’s a little dated… aside from that, the woman that was working on my hair, Hang, was super friendly and I absolutely loved what she did with my hair. At first I was skeptical about the place but I ended up being surprised at how well she cut my hair! I was a little upset when the power for her station randomly shut down while she was blow-​drying my hair and finishing me up, but it wasn’t something I would cry over completely.
My boyfriend ended up getting his haircut by the same lady that worked on my hair, Hang, and of course she did a great job on his hair as well. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Hang expertly cut my hair and kept me smiling with her bright personality while she worked. A great cut and a wonderful experience. These ladies are fantastic!

I’m so glad I came here for a cut! I was a bit skeptical because to be honest, the outside of this place doesn’t look like much. I was able to walk in on a Friday evening which was great. Hana cut my hair and did a great job. Long layers. I walked out of there and paid less than $ 30 for the cut, tip and $ 1 debit fee they charge. I will definitely be back and might even try highlights.

FOR GIRLS WHO WANT LONG LAYERS: Save the time experimenting with which hair salon cuts it better: After every single disappointment I had when going to Fantastic Sam’s, or Jessica’s hair salon, or any other hair cut place for that matter, my family and I always go back to Ngoc (Vicky). She’s the manager of Golden Haircare but before that she was just a hair cutter at other places. I’ve pretty much followed her to get the layers I want. When you say «cut off one inch», she cuts off one inch. She has an eye for how the layers should look and spends time looking at it and making adjustments. I love how she thins it out automatically and cuts it dry so she can see the natural flow of hair.
She’s such a hard worker, even working holidays to get her two daughters through college. And she charges just as much as the other finicky places. Hair cuts are $ 14 for women, $ 10 for men. She charged me $ 20 (from experience I think it’s because I have long hair)… But I’d happily drop $ 20 for the no-​fuss, quality layers I get.
I haven’t tried coloring with her, but if I do decide to get it done again this is where I’ll go.

I’ve been coming here for years now for my haircuts. I started coming here after admiring the work of Donna through one of my co-worker’s hair. My co-​worker gave raving reviews so I had to check this place out. Since then, I have been coming back every time I needed a haircut. I have actually been seeing Vicky for the past couple years now and have always left the salon happy with what she does with my hair. Both Donna and Vicky really know hair and cater to what their customers want.
Vicky also welcomes walk-​ins, which is nice when you’re in the area and decide to stop by for a haircut last minute. They can get busy though so I still call ahead of time just to make sure they’ll be able to accommodate me.
Prices are reasonably-​priced, men’s starting at $ 10, women’s starting at $ 14, depending on length and style desired. I have long hair, and I usually get it cut and layered, which costs me ~$ 30.
This place has very loyal customers ranging of all ages and ethnicities, and I am definitely one of them because of the great work they do.

I love this salon because every time I come for a new color Vicky looks at a picture I show her and manipulates it on my head and every time is gorgeous. She removed my once black hair and gave me an almost all blond new look without damaging my hair. Definitely recommend coming here because it’s not overpriced and very professional. She can do anything!

I’ve been coming here for almost a year now and I’ve never been disappointed. I love how I can just show a picture of any hairstyle and Vicky can copy it easily. Vicky is highly recommended!

Vicky has been cutting my hair for 5 years now. She takes care of my hair and cuts it really well since I have really long and thick hair. She also gives great suggestions to enhance your hairstyle. She is a great stylist when coloring and highlighting. She also does waxing. I highly recommend going to her!
