Picture It On Canvas

It is no longer hard to decide between one and two stars. A second blanket was shipped out to me. I even re-​sent my photos to help ensure that I would get the correct blanket and the response was, «Yep, these are the photos we have for you.» Well, the replacement blanket has arrived and it is again people I do not know. I have since contacted PIOC and have now had no response. I’ve posted photos of the incorrect blankets on their Facebook. I hope I can find the owners, as long as my posts don’t get deleted. This has truly been a painful shopping experience.

One star, only because I couldn’t give them zero stars. I ordered a photo blanket through LivingSocial near December 1, they took my voucher and said I needed an order number to upload my photo. I never received an order number, or a confirmation email. For two weeks I tried to call and email and never got a response. finally today I got a refund through LivingSocial, but I recommended they terminate their relationship with this company, if they haven’t gone out of business already. Stay away.

Ordered a picture blanket for my nephew. Not only did they not respond to any of my emails or answer any of my phone calls about how I wanted to pictures arranged, but they sent me a blanket with the WRONG pictures. They were pictures of someone else’s child. Looks like this has been a very common issue with other customers.
It’s unbelievable to me that this sort of company would not respond to ANY communication. DO NOT order from them!

I ordered a picture blanket from them at the end of November it was guaranteed before Christmas, it arrived today, late and THEY SENT THE WRONG BLANKET! I received some random familys blanket which means TWO familys were disappointed this Christmas.
WORST COMPANY EVER! and their customer service is the worst. The waits have been over 40 MINUTES!
UPDATE:
A week later I have received a new blanket, this one is beautiful and I can tell the designers that put it together took time to center/​crop/​align every picture. Even though it took much longer than expected (over a month!) the result is really beautiful. Their customer service (I was on hold several times for over an hour though!) was kind and polite, they empathized with the issues I had and did their best to help.

I ordered several items with no problems. Had one that the colors changed our faces to a different nationality. Called and spoke with support, did as I was asked to do then zero communication. Never answering the phone or responding to email.

STAY AWAY! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!
Extremely disappointed! I ordered two blankets on December 1^st for Christmas Presents (paid and everything) and have not received any confirmation with the pictures I requested to put on the blankets or any tracking information. I’ve emailed and called several times but no response! This has been going on for over 2 weeks and now I’m starting to think this company is a scam and they just took $ 200 from me! STAY AWAY!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Purchased a Living Social collage blanket. This was an awful ordering experience. It was all very counter intuitive. I spend a long time trying to figure out how to navigate their ordering system. It was truly ridiculous. I was supposed to be able to upload 9 photos to create a collage using their template. After jumping through multiple hoops AND paying for shipping and submitting the order, you are sent to a link to upload your photos. No way to preview my order or to tell if my photos uploaded properly. It was a supreme waste of time and money. Oh, the standard shipping is 3.99, any quicker starts at 34.95…whatever. keep it.

My order (a 5×7 Heavyweight Matte Poster) came in today after a very, very long wait. I was so excited to share it with my family & friends as it was a photo of my engagement day. The end result: a photo that looks like I printed it off myself at Kinko’s. To make matters worse, it looked like it was printed on regular bond paper & glued onto a «heavyweight matte» material. I am so ridiculously disappointed !!! I ordered two more items, all from Dec. 1^st, & I am dreading it! They are going to be Christmas presents & I want to cry because I may have to take a loss on these items totaling $ 150. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY !!!

I can’t say enough good things about this company. I have made photo ornaments, pillows, holiday cards, wood pictures, stone pictures, ornaments and magnets. The website is very user friendly and they are always having a deal so the prices are good. You will know the quality of your item because when you are creating it the site will tell you if your picture is poor, ok, good or excellent. Shipping is fast.
I will continue to order gifts here for years to come.

I bought a LivingSocial coupon, placed my order two weeks ago, noticed I never got email confirmation of my order. Been trying to call them all morning today. No answer! The line just keeps ringing and ringing and ringing.
BEWARE!

Purchased one of those online «deals» $ 5 for an 8×10. Was surprised by all the add-​ons, such as framing, hardware, and shipping. Ended up spending over $ 60 when all was said and done. Not sure it was that great of a deal.

A terrible experience. I wanted to purchased a blanket for my husband. My pictures are 1.2 MB in size which is what the website calls for. When trying to upload the pictures (and I tried several), the website said that the picture quality was too low. I emailed customer service for assistance. I received an email back from Veronica restating information that the website already had on it. Due to lack of help, I got a refund and will not be using this company again.

I purchased two Groupons to order as Christmas gifts. When I uploaded my professional photos, I was instructed that my picture was «too low quality» and I had to pick a different size… meaning smaller than I had purchased. I thought, okay, so I went down 2 sized and it still gave the same message. That was my only option. Either pick a different picture or keep going down sizes. So I clicked on «ask a question», which takes you to a window stating I have to contact them. There was no where to ask a question. So I clicked on «contact us» and was given the only option to email. I emailed to ask why my pictures would not work and they only replied with where to go for FAQs. HOWEVER… I went to Groupon and searched for other canvas picture groupons and several came up… I went to their websites and tried the same pictures… low and behold… no problem!!! So… Now I am purchasing yet another groupon for one of the other companies that will work… They are Canvas On Demand and Canvas On Sale. Great groupon prices. And no I do not work for or know anybody affiliated with these other companies. Just tried others to see if my pictures work and they did.

Ordered two canvas prints (12“x18″) from LivingSocial for $ 40. Asked them if they could club the two items for shipment and they said no. They charged me $ 26 towards shipping charges (UPS Mail innovations). My order total is $ 65 for two canvas prints. This is a rip-​off.
The prints are yet to arrive. Will update the review accordingly.
Update1: One of the two prints arrived. The material doesn’t even look like canvas and pictures are just like prints. There is no pop and quality doesn’t look professional.
Update2.: The second print arrived yesterday. The work quality is very shoddy. Stay away from this business. The prints and quality of work is not professional grade. Cheap material doesn’t even look like canvas.
Do yourself a favor and look for a local store. View the sample prints before you buy.
I am done with canvas prints and Living Social. LivingSocial sucks and so are their deals. They should rename to SocialSucking.

Purchased a groupon deal for 4 magnet pictures. All my pictures are professional quality and the magnets came out horrible. It looks like something a 3 year old can do at home with a cheap printer and some glue. It’s things like these that makes me lose faith in Groupon.

Time for a positive review for this place!

Customer service: Excellent! had some issues with the invoice and the print, Christa and Veronica from the customer service did their best to fix it.

We got a groupon for a 20×30″ canvas print. It was about $ 15 for shipping. It looks beautiful, aside from one issue. There’s a dent in the frame which is visible on the front of the picture as the canvas wraps around the frame. It’s hard to see unless you’re looking for it & we smoothed it out a bit, so we didn’t bother sending it back.
It arrived in a week from ordering. Although the email I received said that I would receive another email once it had shipped, I did not. But the initial email had the link to the tracking so it was all ok.

I took advantage of a Groupon for Picture It On Canvas. In addition to others who have been misled by shipping fee policies (ended up costing over $ 50 just to ship it) the quality of the product I received and the time it took to get to me were horrendous. You would think for $ 50 shipping I would at least get it quickly-​3 weeks later and my order JUST arrived! The canvas is stapled to a cheap, cracked frame and the «canvas» is clearly printed from a crappy industrial printer. It wasn’t even cut evenly before they threw some garbage staples in there and called it a day. My one year old could make a better, more professional product in preschool. You get what you pay for, I guess… except in shipping, you won’t even get that. I wouldn’t use this company again even if it was completely free.

Purchased 7×10 metal canvas through Groupon $ 5.00 each order — $ 9.95 shipping fee, using media post to get my order shipped, cost them only $ 2.00. Today asked them if okay to combine shipping since I still have 9 vouchers hasnt been used. They refused. This is what they replied: —

Worst customer service ever!!! I ordered my 8×10″ canvas 3 months ago and I have yet to receive it. This was a baby shower gift, the baby is now a month old and of course still no picture. I emailed them numerous times, they answer very vaguely and don’t help one bit. This was a huge waste of money & I wouldn’t recommend them to Anyone!
