Our Company provided Structural Engineering services to clients requiring building construction plans. We specialize in providing structural design and construction drawings for residential remodels, single family homes, multi-​family condominiums and apartments, office tenant improvements, and small to medium size office buildings. Their is an old saying among building engineers, «Anyone can design a building, but it takes a real engineer to just barely design a building». I can often save my client more that the cost of my fee in construction costs by providing an economic design.

History

Established in 1990.

HTK Structural Engineers was established in 1990 by the founding Principals of the firm. In 2000 a third Principal was added to the team. Since establishment the firm has grown from a two man operation to a staff of one Associate Engineer, six Project Engineers and three Draftsmen.

Manager

I graduated from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Opispo in 1980 with a bachelors degree in Architectural Engineering. Since then I have been working in the construction industry in San Diego county for the last 28 years. During that time I have provided engineering services on a wide variety of projects and buildings, including both residential and commercial structures.
