My service from Mia was fabulous. Great Mani and Pedi although we had a serious language barrior. The customer service from the receptionist and another manicurist was horrible. They lost us three customers and it’s too bad because we really liked the place. They were very rude to my best friend and so her and her granddaughter left!

Love it here. I went today and I had Nina, she is so nice! I love my nails so much! This is my go to place. There always nice here and they go walks in too! I thought my nails would cost $ 50 + tip but they came out to only be $ 30! Great Deal!

Just had the most amazing pedicure at Aloha nails. Emma is wonderful. She put me to sleep with a relaxing foot rub. Emma takes her time and makes this a real spa experience. Loved it! Thank you, Emma

although great for a basic mani pedi NO acrylics here. I’ve tried a cpl times and just no. polish is a bit of a drive but 25 for a full set and 17 for a fill and their techs are pros! kiew is amazing and I went here for a fill since it’s my go to place for manis and feel like I ruined the shape she gave me :(plus my hands were two completely different shades of the color I chose! wanted to have perfect nails for the holidays and I left underwhelmed. still love their ambiance and the owners and their basic mani pedi deal but the last cpl times I went for anything else I wish I hadn’t. sorry still love this place but…

This was my first time going to this nail place because the girl I normally go to at a different salon wasn’t available. What a waste of time! A guy took off my old gel manicure but didn’t soak my nails after to soften the cuticle. Then before he painted my nails the buffer wasn’t done so my nail beds were all rough. When he started painting them I had to point out cotton sticking up off my nail so he didn’t paint that on. After all said and done was not pleased at all and I’ve been having my nails done for years. Left and came back about 10 mins later and they were completely rude and destroyed my nails! Will never use this place again!

KARENISAMAZING!!! She did my nails for my wedding and they came out perfect!!! I can’t wait for her do my nails for my honeymoon! She takes the time to get to know you and if you bring in a picture she is so good at matching! Aloha nails has a very large staff they are able to take walk ins but I always call to make an appointment! I TOTALLY recommend this place!

Had an appointment at another place, so I had to be in and out quick! There is at least 20 spa chairs maybe even more, I thought it was a little unnecessary since there aren’t 20+ workers, but I guess it makes the store look nice. There is a cute Hawaiian theme and the store seems clean. Service: I stopped by to get a quick color change for my toes since I had somewhere to be and paid $ 15 for a French color change w/one flower. Basically, IFYOUCAN’T EVENDRAWBASICFRENCHTIPSAND A BASICFLOWERYOUSHOULDNOTEVENBE A NAILTECHNICIAN point blank period. I mean, she tried. But it was obvious that she didn’t have these basic skills. The lady I got was named Sonya I believe. I am Vietnamese, and the workers weren’t aware so I heard some things that caught my attention. First, Sonya was going to start painting w/o cutting or filing, which a color change always includes, so I told her that I would like them shorter. The lady next to her then said in Vietnamese«tell her we are going to charge more for cutting nails and file if she’s only getting a color change» and another lady next to her said«No we don’t, you HAVE to cut and file it to make it look pretty» and the lady responded by saying«who cares about her and if it’s pretty» like okay. Second, after she was done w/the French, she started on the flower and her hands started shaking like crazy. I then heard her say in Vietnamese«I can’t draw. This is so ugly» like I said above, if you c ant even draw a simple flower you should not be doing nails. I really should have told her to just wipe off the flower and leave it as that. I saw a menu online and it said a French color change is only $ 10, and 2 flowers is $ 5. I got 1 flower, because I only like one on my right foot, and they still charged me $ 15. I probably got ripped off but w/e. Their packaged deals seem cheap, saw a sign that said $ 25 mani/pedi in the front. Wish I had time since it would’ve been only $ 10 more for a mani +pedi. Maybe next time and maybe another technician.

It is absolutely great! They have outstanding customer service and are really flexible with walk ins. Prices are incredible and the work they do just amazing. The technician who did my pedicure was nice and helpful. She helped me pick out the pretty color. Definitely the place to go. Not only are they great with your nails but the atmosphere was nice and comfortable. Will definitely come back!

Had gone hiking before stopping by here with a meet up-per. We both arrived at the same time but my friend gotten seated before I did. As there was two people attending to her, I only got one. I figured it was because she had some special french tip kind of nail. Did the $ 25 Mani/Pedi. Did not talk much to the lady who did my nails and toes. The massage chairs were cool. I am not much of a nails person — but gotten interested into doing it after a wedding in LA. It looked beautifully the day of. However the next day, a good portion of my nails came off at work(work as a Bank Teller). The nails I had gotten the week prior for the wedding had lasted when I had work the first day. I was pretty disappointed.

Popular nail salon in the heart of Poway! My girlfriend & I came with no appointment & waited about 20 minutes to be seen. I had Annie & my girlfriend had Michelle, both ladies did an amazing job! The massage chairs definitely did the trick too! They have a $ 25 special Mani/Pedi. Deluxe Spa Pedicure $ 25 = Cuticles, 15 minute massage, warm towels, polish, + sea salt & marine mask — Oh yes, my type of pedicure! I let my body relax while the massage chair soothed out the aches in my body. Annie used several items to make my legs & feet feel silky smooth. My heels were extremely rough before the pedicure & afterwards, felt like a baby’s bottom! The nail polish I had originally chosen was too light & Annie suggested going with a darker shade of the color. I am so glad she did because it turned out the exact color I wanted!

I REALLY wanted to like this place because it is such a good deal! $ 25 for a manicure and pedicure with free callus remover, but it was just so terrible. I had an appointment for 9am and had to wait 20 minutes after arriving, and the women that came can got me was sitting reading a magazine while I waited. The water was luke warm at best, when I mentioned it was cold, she just looked and kept going. As she painted my nails she kept hitting the other nails with her fingers, and painted a second and top coat over. My manicure followed suite unfortunately I paid extra for a French and 5 nails were chipped by that night. I may not be the most gentle on my hands, but a manicure usually last a week. I really wanted to like this place, but I will not be going back.

I was very impressed by this nail salon. I came in just before closing, they friendly accepted me, took the time to do a gel manicure and pedicure correctly and my nails look fantastic. I would happily return to this salon.

My sister came into town and wanted to get her nails done. What drew me to this place was the sign outside that advertised mani and pedi for $ 25. We came in and were seated pretty quickly. We ended up choosing the deluxe spa pedi. Tammy was my nail tech for the day. She was very thorough. After I was done with my pedi she lightly raised the tub and then someone else came over and cleaned it more thoroughly. Next time I will be sure to ask for her again. The décor was very nice and bright. They had about 20 comfy spa chairs.

Stopped by this place earlier this morning and I must say my experience compared to my sister’s experience was totally different. We were greeted fairly quickly by the front desk lady, and she spoke English! We didn’t get out chair for another 10 mins though. We both decided on the deluxe pedicure which comes with a 15 min massage, salt scrub and some sorta mask cream thing and«free callous remover”— Neither of us got that. The massage chair was good, seemed newer and actually worked. The nail techs seemed pretty annoyed that my sister was undecided if she wanted a manicure or not. We decided just pedicure. Btw– the advertised special with the«Q-gel» is basically gel polish without the base and top coat and doesn’t last as long. If you don’t ask, don’t complain that they didn’t do the base. There is a sign that explains that, which is why we didn’t go with that option. My tech didn’t ask how short I wanted my toe nails and just proceeded to cut them super short, then she filed them to the point where it cut one of my toes. I flinched a couple times but she didn’t care. Now, I personally never speak to the ladies in Vietnamese even though I can and I speak it fluently — I guess I don’t look like the typical Vietnamese chick so they never ever suspect it. I like to just act oblivious and see if they are respectful and professional. I can tell you that in my experience, my tech wasn’t. My tech actually told the other tech to stop massaging the mask on my sister’s feet because«it’s like you are giving them 2 massages. Just slap it on and leave it, they don’t know» — of course it was in Vietnamese. The other lady just laughed it off but continued on my sister. She then also said she hates that she has to get up so many times to grab things(the salt scrub, the mask, the warm towel). At this point I already knew I wasn’t going to tip her. She then said to my sister’s tech that she thinks I’m going to time her on the massage — which at that point I did! My 15 min massage was exactly 9 mins. But I didn’t say anything. I just let it be. She finished painting my toes, put my flip flops on and walked off— thanks for smiling and making me feel welcomed— NOT! I gave 2 stars because my sister had a good experience and my polish came out nice. 3 toes are cut crooked, and 1 was cut by the nail file. Will not return

Love getting my nails done here! Whenever I come down from school, I always look forward to my yearly mani/pedi. Today was my second experience and it was great! I didn’t have to wait very long, but previously, I know that the weekends can be a pretty long wait, so I definitely suggest making an appointment. Diane was the lady that did my nails today and she did a great job! The place overall is very sanitary and unlike most salons, the smell of acetone and nail polish overall is not very fragrant. I love that this place always has the door open so the fumes don’t get too strong. Definitely recommend this place! Also, they do a $ 25 deal for both mani and pedi! Can’t wait until next year. :)

Aloha nails is worth the drive. You have to make an appointment on weekends as they are booked and not many walkins are lucky! There are many chairs — maybe 30? And the staff is not chatty with customers or with each other(big plus in my opinion!!) They are also very sanitary. They have someone on staff whose job it is to clean the chairs. I watched her clean many chairs and she did an excellent job. The appointment person speaks English without a crazy accent! Total bonus… The reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 — they are overly accommodating with small children. While I was there, a mother brought her small daughter(maybe 3) and her daughter’s friend to watch her get a pedicure. My serenity was definitely interrupted!!!

This place is clean, relaxing, they play great Hawaiian music and they are always accommodating! I’ve only gone on Saturdays and they get really busy so I suggest making an appointment(with Tammy). This last time I made an appointment for my sis-in-law and I and we were 30min late! =\ they were still able to take both of us in very quickly instead of turning us away which I really appreciate! $ 30 gel mani $ 20 reg pedi $ 35 Q-gel and reg pedi $ 25 for reg mani pedi Free callus removal Great hand and foot massages! Prices are reasonable and Tammy is like an artist when it comes to doing my gel nails! She’s very meticulous, doesn’t talk much, but she is very sweet! I have yet to find someone to do my pedi as awesome as her! I’ve only been here twice but both times have been a great experience! I want to say it’s because of TAMMY! Update: A week later, the gel started peeling off at the corners. For this, I give them 4 stars. however, they did fix it for free without hassle. But then it happened again.

1st time customer will never return. Paid $ 35 for a pedicure«with free callus removal» not & a gel manicure. I specifically said I wanted the hands to match the toes(not even close) worse my nails have been polished nicer at a cosmology school. The polish doesn’t go down to the cuticle and the tips are darker than than at the bottom.

Come on! For around $ 20 you can get a great pedi in a massage chair. The décor and music make you feel like you are in Hawaii. Spring for the extras. This place is great.
