We provide more than homework support. We have developed a unique hybrid tutoring approach that combines the latest in educational technology with traditional face-​to-​face individualized tutoring. Students begin their path to academic success by taking skills assessments, discussing their goals and challenges with the program director, and enrolling in customized programs to plug in foundational skill gaps as well as excel in courses at school.

We fully embrace the Common Core Standards. We have partnered with a world-​renowned education company. They provide our ACE Tutoring learning centers with the most advanced educational materials, technologies, assessments and related services.

History

Established in 2004.

AnhCore Inc, dba ACE Tutoring, is a premier provider of supplemental education. Our expert staff has supported students in North County San Diego since 2004. In early 2014, ACE Tutoring completed their transformation to the most advanced learning center in the region. By combining expert tutors with the most advanced educational technology, our systems have the ability to ensure that students are solid in all of their foundational skills including reading, writing and math. We also offer an advanced classroom support program to help students be successful with virtually any K-​12 class.

Meet the Manager

Rachel C.

Manager

Rachel has been the director of the center for the past 8 years. Before that, she worked for educational companies such as Score and Sylvan Learning Centers and the YMCA. Rachel graduated with a degree in Business Administration from The Master’s College. She has an extensive knowledge of the California Educational System and has worked with kids for over 15 years! She is a large group instructor for Rock Kids at Rock Church East County.

My 5 year old has been coming to ace for a few months now. She is really learning a lot and finished out her kindergarten year strong. We are doing summer camp now and I can’t wait to see her progress over the summer to be ready for 1st grade! Rachel and Miss Sarah are both awesome, it’s easy in and out and they give you a program to work on from home as well. 5 stars!

My daughter started at ACE Tutoring (then Tutoring Club) when she was a freshman in high school and in danger of flunking Spanish. The tutors there were amazing, they not only brought her grade up to passing but she got several A’s in Spanish. My daughter attended ACE for the entire time she was in high school, receiving tutoring in math, chemistry and SAT prep along with Spanish. The tutors really understand how to explain the subjects to the kids, this is invaluable. Because of the help she received at ACE Tutoring my daughter graduated with a 3.5 GPA and is now attending college at Cal State San Marcos. I would highly recommend the center to anyone.

My daughter attended ACE tutoring throughout middle school and high school. She attended 4 days a week during which time she could receive help or support with her homework or review difficult subject areas. The Tutors are very knowledgeable and friendly. They knew how to help her with all subject areas including Chemistry, Algebra, Geometry, AP, and Spanish courses to reinforce learning and help her to understand difficult content. The center also was very supportive and flexible to meet my daughter’s needs. Because of the help of the tutors at ACE tutoring and Rachel, my daughter earned over a 4.0 GPA during the most difficult high school years! In fact, she was accepted for admission to over 17 colleges and universities!
I highly recommend ACE tutoring for every student whether needing help for remediation or support to enhance learning.

Since 2007 I have been sending my boys to Ace Tutoring (formally Tutoring Club). Happy to say, my oldest son graduated from high school very successfully and got into his college of choice. My youngest son is still enrolled at ACE and is receiving much needed classroom and SAT testing support. His grades continually improve and the staff is on-​target with his homework demands.
The facility is clean, organized and welcoming.
The San Marcos location is very convenient — especially for the high school student as they can walked across the street right after school. The staff is always very kind, helpful, credible and encouraging.
I would also like to add that owners Steve and Anh Eggers are very involved in their community. They give back in many ways including scholarships, camps, Rotary, etc.

Our family has been working with Ace Tutoring of Poway (formerly Tutoring Club) for the last eight years. They are very personable and are always willing to work with our crazy schedule due to sport or after-​school activities. They have great tutors who have worked with my children’s unique learning styles. They were helpful in improving my children’s class work, homework, testing and thus were able to meet their scholastic goals. They’re awesome!
