Morgan’s Florist & Nursery

My wedding coordinator recommended Steve Morgan to me as a florist for my wedding and I am SO happy she did because everything was AMAZING!!! I never even went to view Steve’s work in person prior to my wedding (I had a lot of trust in my coordinator) but we had a few phone calls so he could figure out what I was looking for and he delivered exactly what I wanted and then some. All my wedding flowers were seasonal, local and had a gorgeous wildly beautiful look to them — sunflowers, hydrangea, celosia, gomphrena– so many incredible blooms! Everyone commented on how beautiful my bouquets and table arrangements were. I also ordered a flower crown for myself and my flower girl and they were both stunning and perfect and lasted all day. For our huppah, they fastened about 40 sunflowers with little water vials that lasted all day and then some. The wedding was 5 days ago and some of the flowers are still looking gorgeous. I would recommend Moran’s to anyone and everyone!

The delivery guy was very nice and clean cut. I gave two stars to Morgan florist because of him. However, once the flowers were delivered and I took a closer look at them, I noticed that there was quite a bit of browning on them and wilting. They were delivered on Valentine’s Day, so they were probably pretty busy… it was pretty evident from how disheveled the flowers appeared as well. Either way, I think flowers should be delivered any healthy state and they should be arranged well. Many of the stems were short of falling out of the base. I rearrange the bouquet myself to do my best with that, but obviously I couldn’t do much about the browning.
If the flowers were not a Valentine’s Day gift from a close friend who lives far away, I would advise him not to buy flowers from there again. However, when it’s a gift it makes it tough because you don’t want to take away from the thoughtfulness of your sender.
The pictures posted were taken on delivery… Today is Feb. 16^th, and several of the flowers look like they should be cut. Rose tips are also starting to brown as well now.

We visited Steve Morgan in person after both our event venue manager and our caterer recommended his work. The moment I saw the selection of flowers in the case, I knew we were in the right place. Steve proved as creative and imaginative as we had hoped. He knew the venue well, as well as the caterer’s work, so he was able to envision exactly what the arrangements would look like and how they could best be placed. The floral arrangements were simply stunning in the bold use of color, texture, dimension, and composition. Steve is a true artist whose work is to be commended.

I received exceptional customer service from the staff at Morgan’s Florist. They took the extra time to make sure my order was perfect, and accommodate my requests. I am looking forward to ordering flowers through this friendly business in the future.
