Good Mexican food at a fair price. Their burritos are huge and flavorful. Taco dont lack fillings. Stuffed to the top. $-$$

If you want pretty decently cooked shrimp on a salad, check this place out. They were probably the most redeeming aspect of the«Mole Mole» salad I ordered there the other day. I ran in wanting a quick lunch(which was delivered so I will give them that). I was just disappointed with the salad, mostly because it cost me $ 13 and I feel like all I really received was a tortilla bowl with sparsely dressed romaine lettuce, more tortilla in the form of strips on top, and the randomly excellently cooked shrimp. There were a few other items included, my favorite being avocado slices, but the whole salad was kind of a mess and about 80 percent romaine. Next time, I’ll have to try something with a little more substance because judging by other plates of food I saw, this place isn’t skimping on portions.

My boyfriend and I had a burrito craving one night at around 9:30 so we made the short drive over to Mole Mole. Prior to going, we looked up the hours online and Google said that they were open until 10PM however when we got there, the doors were locked. Okay, we called the store and inquired about their hours to see what they actually were. The lady on the phone told us they were«usually open until 9:30». Usually? Okay, whatever, we’ll give it a try another night. So the next time we go there around dinnertime to get burritos to go. The burritos were big, but they were really really disappointing. For starters, you couldn’t pick it up and eat it because it was too big and would have fallen apart — you needed a knife and fork. I got mine with chicken, cheese, rice and beans, and lettuce, however the rice was served as a side, as was the lettuce. So inside my burrito was just refried beans, cheese, and chicken, which wasn’t what I expected. My boyfriend got the carnitas burrito and his was the same way. Overall I was pretty disappointed. Maybe other things on their menu are better than their burritos, but I’d honestly choose Chipotle over Mole Mole if I wanted a burrito with fresh, tasty ingredients.

I’m from Cali so naturally I crave a good Mexican street meal like I do KBBQ. I heard El Azteca Mexican Deli was great so I went there and wasn’t impressed. Then my friend took me to Mole Mole and right off the bat, the atmosphere was inviting, hot sauce selection was AWESOME, and most importantly the soft taco selection and price was amazing! I just learned that my professor here in CIA owned it in the past(under another name) and he still thinks the place is great! Must try and all locations are great.

Really fantastic. No alcohol but that just helps keep cost of the check down. The mole is insanely good, deep and rich. Would highly recommend and would go again. Great value, great staff and service.

My wife and I first came across Mole Mole several weeks ago when dining at Yolo Café(next door). We decided then that we would make it a point to try this Mexican spot out at some point. That time finally came tonight For 7:30pm on a Friday, this place was relatively empty. No matter to us, quicker service! My first instance of disappointment came when being told they didn’t have any negro modello — my favorite when dining this type of food. I won’t hold it against them, as Modello Especial was still available. The next round of disappointment came when we discovered that they don’t give you any chips/salsa to start! We decided to have the guac and chips to satisfy our urge. The guac had a nice spice kick to it and that was enjoyable. We asked for a side of salsa to accompany it(pico de gallo) and later discovered that they charged us $ 5 extra for it… gotta love when restaurants do those types of things(another disappointing factor)… I’m not one to argue it with the waiter, but it was definitely going in the review The biggest disappointment to me came with the food itself. I opted for a spicy pork quesadilla(which contains pineapple — not listed on the menu. I enjoyed that aspect of it, but just a heads up for anyone who may not). I expected it to be a tad more flavorful, and the only thing salvaging it was the pineapple. It absolutely did not live up to the spicy advertisement to me at all. My wife on the other hand thoroughly enjoyed her vegetarian enchilada and that made it this restaurants saving grace for this review. That and the side single taco I had. That was delicious and came with a great spicy sauce on the side Now, I’ll admit that my review may seem as though I hated this place but that wasn’t the case. I would absolutely give it another try and chalk it up to bad choice on the menu for me. Being that my wife liked, I may not have a choice!

Went twice, the staff seemed pretty inconvenienced more than interested in serving customers. The food was okay, nothing to write home about.

I feel like this is a little secret in Poughkeepsie ! Specifically the location across the street from Marist. Three tacos with fresh cilantro and lime, one mole chicken, one carnitas, one veggie(they let me pick 3 different fillings!), and a side of rice and beans for $ 10.00! Everything tasted fresh and i finished my whole plate! Full menu and beer available too. Surprised to not find this place packed.

It was pretty good but it used to be awesome. I don’t know what happened in between. I used to love having their black bean soup and chicken burritos but now not so much. I had the carnitas burrito and it was good, don’t get me wrong, but it wasn’t out of this world. Service was great and the food was hot. But I want outstanding and it just wasn’t happening here.

For a spicy taste of Mexico north of the border… WAYNORTH of the border! Stop in to Mole Mole in Poughkeepsie NY. There are 3 location to choose from, we sampled the one across from Marist college on route 9 GOREDFOXES! We started with the unibrow Frieda inspired nachos. They sound like your typical nachos; ground beef, beans, cheese, a little cilantro and crema but are topped with a mild mole sauce! That’s the surprise in this cracker jacks box! Tasty tasty. Then we moved on to the tortilla salad, I was a bit disappointed, felt like the broth could have been developed with a few more es-spices. But it was just the right medicine for a cold wintery day. Unfortunately my belly was full and the adventure stopped there. I rated Molé Molé a shining 3 prong star because of the great company and tasty dishes. A bite more: Sources tell me the steak tacos are a very good choice. Add some of the buffalo hot sauce and enjoy. It was fast service at a decent price! They sell«Boing» — a mexican soda made with real sugar.

Great Mexican considering that it’s neither New York City nor California, Colorado, or Texas. Got the chicken flautas and loved them. Strangely, they used flour tortillas to make them, but hey, they were still delicious. My dad got the fish tacos, and was also pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

I am surprised about the complaints here for service. The numerous times my husband and I have been here have always been prompt and attentive service. This is our favorite mexican restaurant in the area — the food is really delicious, and better than anything I’ve had in the area(yes, better than mexicali blue, which I’ve tried and feel is overrated). I love their varied assortment of hot sauce. We tried the Valentina hot sauce, because we have a daughter by the same name :), and were happy to experience a markedly different flavor and style of hot sauce that is now our everyday go-to hot sauce brand. Ever since frequently the City of Poughkeepsie location from my college years in the early 2000s, I always got cheese enchiladas with mole sauce. I have yet to get something else here — I can’t bring myself to do it. Seriously… the cheese enchiladas with mole sauce are so amazing that I can’t bring myself to try something else. I do now get a blend of veggie and cheese, instead of just cheese, but can’t resist the mole sauce. best I’ve ever had… Speaking of best I ever had, their cinnamon nachos are out of this world! They are beyond delicious… I highly recommend them as a perfect ending to your meal. ‘ Overall, this place has something for every palette — and is really worth a shot next time you are in the area. Out of this world.

The service wasn’t very good. My group and I were served warm water. The food was prepared in a fairly quick manner but not well. It was not tasty really. I would not come back to this specific mole mole. Maybe another one in my area.

before I even get to the food I would just like to talk about the restaurant itself. upon entering we stood for a couple minutes while we waited to be showed to a table, but eventually we just say ourselves. about 5 minutes go by then we are helped by a lady who was quite clueless if you ask me. she then cut to the chase and asked for our orders, completely bypassing beverage choices. now I am certainly no expert on Mexican cuisine, however I was born and raised in houston and have grown up eatin authentic Mexican food. the order: I ordered the tacos, which I chose the mole mole filling, al pastor filling, and the carnitas filling. I asked for flour tortillas but was told that they did not have small flour tortillas, only big ones for the burritos. I then ordered a queso fundido for me and my friend to share which I also asked for flour tortillas. my friend ordered the burrito grande and asked for French fries Instead of refried beans. and to finish we both asked for water. the food: we received our queso fundido before we even received our glasses of water. but then I noticed something that shocked me, on the side were SMALL flour tortillas which the lady told me before that they didn’t have. the queso fundido itself was a perfect example of how queso fundido shouldn’t be. covered in shredded cheese and sitting in a pool of grease, it was awful. my tacos came and I quickly poured the contents of my tacos on 3 of the SMALLER flour tortillas I saved from earlier. the mole sauce is a joke, the al pastor was harder than rock, and carnitas made me feel like I was eating shredded leather. my friend kindly asked for French fries instead refried beans, but was given refried beans still. after conversing in Spanish to the lady that he wanted papas fritas instead of frijoles she brought our fries. then to top it off after all of our food was on the table we were brought our cups of warm tap water, no ice, and only HALF way filled. overall: the music and ambiance of the restaurant Molé Molé made us feel as if we were dining in one of Walt Disney’s The Mermaid restaurants. along with the addition of The Mermaid music album and the multicolored floor tiles. At a mind blowing 33 $ bill, terrible service, and even worse food this place is a joke. I will never return to Molé Molé.

When I come up to visit my family and get off the train station I find my dad, hug him, and ask him right away — did you get the tamales? If the answer is no, then our first stop is here. I really love the tamales. I like the green spicy ones slightly better than the mole ones but I want both at the same time. YUM!

Mole Mole is the best place I can go to get my Mexican food fix. It’s fairly small but has a good number of tables of all sizes. I really like the art on the walls. When I came here for lunch, one person was manning the register and waiting on tables, but he was having no problem keeping up. We just weren’t sure whether to order at the counter or wait for him to come to the table. I like the fact that the cooler contains a number of all-sugar sodas, which I prefer over the brand-name corn-syrup-added ones. My order, a burrito with mole chicken, was quite tasty, served with a side of rice and salad with salsa. The other order, vegetarian tacos, came out as a vegetarian burrito — still very tasty, and a generous portion, but not what he ordered. That was the only problem with what was otherwise a very enjoyable lunch. Be a little careful pulling into and out of the lot here, especially during lunchtime. The parking lot can get a little crazy.

I ate here recently on a girls night out. It was delicious and some of the best Mexican I’ve had on the east coast. I ordered the veggie enchiladas wth mole sauce. The sauce was intensely flavored and delicious. My dinepanions ordered other dishes(whose names escape me) and they were raving about them too. My only complaint was the service. Our server had absolutely no personality and a limited concept of waitressing. We ordered two appetizers that were brought out exactly 30 seconds before the entrees. Not good. Thank God they were delicious but even so, its not what you do. At the end of the meal we just sat there with empty plates, not knowing if there was a desert menu or if the check would be delivered to the table. We never received an answer to our questions about a drinks menu although we could clearly see Tequila and beer just a few feet away. To the servers credit, she was completely unfazed by us splitting the bill 3 ways. I’ll be back for the food and crossing my fingers that the service gets better too.

Best Mexican you’re going to find in this area. Traditional fare mixed with a few tex-mex choices guarantees everyone will find something they like. The produce is always crisp and fresh, and the food is prepared consistently and well. If you’re there for a quick cheap lunch do yourself the favor and grab one of their Tortas. These sandwiches are enormous and at roughly the price of fast food, there really isn’t any decision to make. The taco platter is another wallet friendly choice that allows a first time visitor to try a few different house specialties. For the truly time and money conscious just get one of their excellent soups and ask for a few extra tortilla chips, you’ll be out the door full and happy in less than 15 minutes.
