Meet the Manager

Peter C.

Manager

Peter Carr was appointed to his current position as Branch Manager of the Poughkeepsie and Wappingers Falls operations in 2009, and has oversight for all account management and support staff functions within these two Marshall & Sterling offices. Previously, Pete served as a Vice President with The Valley Group, managing their Hopewell Junction, NY branch operations. His 15-​year insurance career has included both sales and management of large scale commercial accounts for Allstate Insurance, The Daniels Agency and Rose & Kiernan Insurance. An active community volunteer, Pete is past Board President of the Mid-​Hudson Civic Center, as well as a board member of the New Horizons Foundation. Pete is a Forty Under 40 recipient and serves on this committee and is a member of the Insurance Committee for the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is a past President of the East Fishkill Rotary Club, and a former board member of the Pawling YMCA and Pawling Chamber of Commerce.
