Incorporated in 2004 ALVA provides professional high quality author publishing services including editing, text design, cover design, eBook conversion, and eBook and book publishing and distribution. Its novels, poetry, and illustrated children’s books include two internationally recognized medalists: Roberta M Roy in 2011 Jenkins medalist in Inspirational Fiction and Kristen Henderson, eLit Gold Medalist in Poetry. Established in 2004.
ALVA incorporated as a publisher in 2004. While its initial intent was to print and publish books, with the advent of the eBook revolution ALVA morphed into a specialist in eBook design, publication, and distribution. ALVA eBooks are available on B&N, Amazon.com, Kobo, and Overdrive.

Business Owner
Roberta M Roy is the Award Winning Author of Jolt: a rural noir and the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief for ALVA Press, Inc. Roy was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, and has lived most of her life in the Mid Hudson Valley.
It is Roy’s interest in writers and the written word that has brought her to her current interest in editing and publishing. Hence, «Cherish the writer. .. Enchant the reader.»
Roy holds and an MA in Speech Pathology from the University of Nebraska and a BA in English from SUNY at Albany, NY, and licenses from NYS and Vermont as a Speech Language Pathologist.
