History

Established in 1993.

After owning a canvas shop for 13 years and repairing thousands of broken zippers, we discovered that most zippers fail because the slider (the little gadget you pull up and down) either wears out, falls off or breaks. Realizing one day that most people could solve this common problem with the correct parts and instructions, we decided to create the Zipper Rescue Kit and ZRK Enterprises. We remain a small family owned an operated business to this day and it is our pleasure to serve you for all of your zipper needs.

Business Owner

I am a second generation ZipperMan, born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I have taken on the legacy of my father who founded ZRK 22 years ago. I grew up mostly in Ashland, Oregon and have a passion for traveling, high mountain lakes and fireside jam sessions. I moved to Portland in 2008 and worked mostly in construction and remodeling for a few years. I earned my ownership of ZRK Enterprises in 2014 after my Mother was ready to pass the torch to me and have been deep in the zipper world ever since.
