Specialties
Our business is devoted to one thing: iPhone repair. Wired performs all repairs, from simple cracked-glass and broken LCDs to water-damage-restoration, in our brand-new repair facility in NW Portland, conveniently located just 150 feet from the nearest TriMet stop, offering not only easy access via bus and streetcar, but also close-proximity to I-405. Wired iRepair is leading the industry in water-damage restoration techniques, using tools and techniques pioneered by forensic specialists and perfected by our techs.
A huge part of our business philosophy is our commitment to environmental-stewardship. We understand that cell-phones have a negative impact on the environment. We also understand that they are here to stay. By helping to keep over 200 iPhones from potentially ending up in landfills during the past 4 months alone, Wired iRepair is doing its part to not only save people money, but also to help minimize our negative impact on our fragile planet.
History
Established in 2009.
Wired iRepair started as a tiny, craigslist-based business in NW PDX, and has grown into a thriving part of the local economy and Portland’s first, and finest, Unauthorized iPhone repair facility. Northwest resident Matt Moore wants to help people save money and help the environment. His idea: factory-quality repairs at a fraction of the cost and conveniently located in your neighborhood.
The brand-new location in NW Portland was a labor of love, built with recycled materials from the rebuilding center, and lots of help from loving friends. Please come take a look!
Meet the Business Owner
Matthew M.
Business Owner
Hi! I’m Matt Moore, owner and head-tech at Wired iRepair in NW Portland, Oregon. I moved to Portland from central Florida in 2009, because I wanted to enjoy the outdoors (instead of living in AC all the time), the food, and the snowy-mountains. I’m a graduate of the University of Central Florida, and I worked for NASA at Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center before moving to Oregon. I began repairing iPhones in 2009, and I have been lucky enough to witness the birth of a business, and an entire industry.
