Sprint Store

I have been with Sprint for almost 10 years. I am not a part of Sprint because of their fabulous customer service but because their prices were reasonable. I went into this store and the people were very nice! They answered all my questions in an honest manner and were interested to make sure I could make an informed decision.
They were just lovely and funny. They did the best customer service ever! They made me happy I stayed with Sprint!

The absolute worst. Waited 30 minutes, they only have 2 registers. 4 angry people in line behind me. I wanted to buy an iPhone outright for my dad and they said they don’t do that because they’re not a ‘corporate’ store. Then they said they could, but it would be $ 100 more than apple or the downtown sprint store sell it for. How is that encouraging people to buy your products?

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL SPRINT STORE-​do not go to 3^rd party store! I had to go to this store as I broke my phone while I was out of town. Got there, only to be told what I was just told by Sprint’s customer service # an hour before was not available and was not an option bc there were no notes on my account. Told the rep I had to stay in the same monthly price range of what I was currently paying and asked what could he do for me. He played off the other rep in selling me a iphone 6s lease, in order to keep the monthly bills close to what I pay… but couldn’t tell me what my final monthly bill would be «because of taxes, etc.» He claimed to have looked at past bills and sold me a «comparable plan”-even though it was 6g less than my monthly average; he «threw in» some accessories, including a remote hot spot box… to the tune of $ 20/​mo for the data plan on the box and $ 8/​mo for the lease of the box. Luckily, I was smart enough to call Sprint to ask what my final monthly bill was going to be before the 2 week return period was up. I went to return the hot spot box at a corporate store, only to find out I couldn’t return it there bc it was from a 3^rd party vendor. Luckily, the Sprint customer service rep I got on the phone arranged for a return shipment of the hot spot box and brought me back to my old plan. The cockiness and overall attitude of the sales guys was nauseating. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Worse walk-​in customer service I have ever experienced. No greetings, no questions of what I am in for service about. When asked what I am here for they said that they are still dealing with other customers and they can’t help me… Waited for one hour in a half to simply walk out in five minutes with having none of our problems solve. Instead, they told me to call sprint service with no apologies after their mistake. I think I am going to stick with my old sprint store. Thanks for nothing.

Its next to a tiny starbucks. Its on a good location. It looks very presentable, especially at night but it sucks. They are not very helpful even for a sprint store and do not want to hold blame for any malfunctions in the network or phone equipment. They are not helpful at all. I felt lost and alone in this store and as if no one cares about whether I had a working phone or network. They sent me a on a goosehuny through Portland instead of being helpful. They are not a thrid party and work exclusively with Sprint phones which is why I didn’t understand policies they were explaining.

Screw this store. They tried to tell me they wanted $ 250 for a upgrade eligible phone that is $ 199 on sprints website, and $ 99 on Amazon and best buy.
On top of that they were pushy, and stuck up.

Mark, their «technical guy» is the person to see if you want to waste hours of your time and get inaccurate info. The other clowns in there can be seen bouncing around talking about everything besides helping customers. Our favorite was quote was «…I’m fitting to drive a dodge Neon». We were also offered beer by another one of these folks, someone else had dropped it off… no doubt as a way to bribe these idiots to actually do something. Mark was the stand out though, he was a pompous jerk to my girlfriend, told her she was out of contract (she isn’t) and spent 4 hours with the phone in order to solve a simple problem. The only silver lining is I was so angry about this terrible service I switched her to Verizon… they suck too but they at least treat you with some basic dignity.

Terrible customer service, employees are not very knowledgeable and seem annoyed by questions. Not sure why a sprint store needs 5 employees if only one is gonna help customers and 3 will sit in the back ignoring everyone else.

POS ginger — July 14^th, 2015
The red headed bearded guy is such a POS. I was unhappy with my phone having problems and Sprint set up an appointment with this store. They informed me that this store has techs that take care of issues like mine and that they are sure to get it back to working order.
So I arrive with a hopeful mindset and immediately that guy at the store disses my phone for being cheap and says it comes with $ 300 phones. I corrected him right then and there and told him that no phone should come with problems especially at $ 300. This was within 30 seconds.
Then he, with a shitty arrogance doesn’t do shit other than offer me the address to a battery plus store. We don’t even know if its the battery!!! He just looked at my phone… like in his hands and said there’s not much we can do other than charge you $ 75 swap…
Most sprint or phone employees are awesome with knowing how to hack phones and run through apps or do a diagnostic and see what’s wrong with the phones. I was told that this specific store had techs that do this.
DONT GO HERE AND IF YOU DO BEWARE.

Hands down the worst customer service ever. I got signed up for a 2 year agreement which consisted of a 50 unlimited plan, 5 dollar i phone 6 rental, and 13 dollar insurance on the phone, as a free add on a really crappy tablet was included. After 6 weeks I got my first bill. they were charging me monthly service rates for the tablet and the phone rental was 20 not 5 bringing my monthly bill from what I thought was $ 68 to a whooping $ 135. After going back and forth with the store, and customer care at sprint they came to the conclusion the rep had wrong info and accidently offered me specials that were not available. So their fault right? I shouldn’t be held accountable right??. WRONG!!! i still had to pay the 200 cancelation fee for the crappy tablet I didn’t want IN THE FIRST PLACE. and had to cancel my insurance on my phone to get my bill down to my price range which is still more than what i was quoted. While in the store waiting on hold with customer service I had the pleasure of hearing the employees swear and bad talk about the guy who made the mistake with my 7 year old daughter standing right there. This company is an absolute scam and the people that work here are terrible. Now I hope nothing happens to the phone or i’m screwed. IF your smart you will avoid this store like the plague.

I like Sprint and am happy with my phone and will continue with Sprint. I do, however, refuse to use this store for any reason ever.
These folks were horrible to me. I had an iPhone that had warranty issues. I went to the Sprint Store in Clackamas on 82^nd (great service there BTW) and they ordered me a new phone because my phone sort of working. When the phone got worse and was unusable and I would have had to wait 3 days for the Clackamas Store to get my replacement, I went to THIS store to see if they could help or had my model in stock.
They told me I dropped/​damaged it (I didn’t) and had to pay a minimum of $ 200 and refused to discuss it any further. This was without examining or listening to me about when the problem (a screen issue) started. When I told them I had a technician at the other store confirm it was a warranty issue, that store had all my info and if they could consult with them. The guy told me, «If they say its a warranty thing, then go back to that store then, we aren’t going to give you a free phone.»
I went immediately to the apple store and got it replaced at no cost.
They have had some good people at this store in the way distant past, i noticed some of them now working at the other/​good stores.
These people are rude, condescending, unfamiliar with the products they sell, and generally poor if not hostile service. I have no idea why Sprint Corp allows them a contract.

Rep lied to me when signing up for an new contract, told me it was only 67 per month for the 60 $ unlimited plan they advertise. 1 day later sprint adds on an additional 25 $ per month access charge without telling me. I asked the rep 3x if there were any other fees or charges and he lied and told me no. Classic Bait and switch. Poor business, stay away from this company and store.

Employee didn’t know anything about my phone and sent me to Apple. Would not replace the phone and even though it was clearly a defective phone, still would not work with me. Thanks for nothing.

So apparently $ 100 off a year comes to a savings of $ 2 a month. Some serious math wizards in this store. Oh and they cut you off mid-​sentence to let you know how good their deal is, which it isn’t.

Absolutely avoid! When I returned phones within the time allowed they without my knowledge reactivated phones I had switched from that were no longer under contract. I was forced to pay for phones I wasn’t even using for 3 months. Before I knew of this I opened a new account and bought 2 new phones. They added a «free» tablet with an agreed rate that added $ 15 a month for 6 months with option to downgrade to $ 5 then for remainder of 24 month committment. But that plan was discontinued by Sprint right after that and dropped to $ 10 but no downgrade option. So not only did they change terms of agreement but they continued to charge me for $ 15 for 6 months. When I called to downgrade they refused to honor agreement and most likely would have continued charging that rate until I happened to find out. In the meantime, I brought a third phone in to have activated but they claimed they couldn’t activate, trying to sell another phone. One hour later I activated on Ting. You can not trust these people so buyer beware!

I have had the worst Customer Service Experience that I have ever had at this store. I feel that an associate used deceptive practices to sell me a high end accessory. Then I was given a different story when I needed support in the store and on the phone.
Long story short, I purchased a USB charger for $ 30. I was told it had an instore exchange for issues. It broke due to a manufacturer defect. I went in to get help and was told I had to mail it in. I explained and they wouldn’t hear it. Then when I was leaving I heard the manager using curses and mocking me.
I called Sprint support several times and was dusconnected. I used email and was told I wad out of luck om charger and no feedback on in store experience. Be aware before using Sprint, especially this location! Counting down days until my contract expires.

The day before Father’s Day I went with my Mom to the Lloyd District #Sprint to get my Dad an iPhone. They’ve been customers for 8 years. We learned that they were both eligible for a new upgrade plan that would allow me to purchase this phone plus one for Mom and then they would pay a fee each month for two years. Even with this fee and the new plan, their monthly bill would be lowered. We were very happy. Cameron began to take care of this for us, but there was a glitch in getting my Dad’s phone set up so we couldn’t present my Dad with the phone at breakfast– we had to come back. Instead, Cameron called my phone while we were at breakfast and I handed the phone to my Dad and Cameron told my Dad he was getting a new iPhone. My Dad was stoked! Thing is, since that day, this store has been jerking us around and my Dad still hasn’t gotten his new phone! I’ve called Cameron and the store manager, Alex (1621 NE Grand Avenue, Portland), multiple times and they blow me off saying they will send another email to higher ups or call me back. They have not yet called me back. I’ve initiated all calls. Once Cameron even told my Mom that he had lots of customers so he couldn’t help her with what he’d promised to help with. Both Cameron and Alex report that the issue is one they’ve never seen before and that it can get fixed, but they will not communicate with us or prioritize this. I’m getting blown off every time I call. My father doesn’t deserve this crappy treatment. He’s been a #Sprint customer for 8 years, is a hospital chaplain and a retired Army Lt. Col. I wanted to give him this gift because he always puts himself last and we were told by #Sprint that all systems were go, but now we can’t get any response! Our family is very disappointed with the lack of respect we’ve received from #Sprint and we are considering taking our business elsewhere.

This is one of the best Sprint stores I’ve ever been to. Twice now they’ve had the new iPhone when no one else in the city did. I never ever have to wait and I’m in and out in 20 minutes tops (for a new phone & contract!). The staff is always super nice. I can’t give this place enough praise.

Overcharged me and took a week to get a refund. Manager refuses to call me back, beware!

These guys are great. I had to visit twice in the last month because my phone had a meltdown. The last time I was in Alex helped me and yes it took an hour but that is because he was making sure things were fixed right so I wouldn’t have to come back. He even went above and beyond and showed me some best practice tips too.
During my wait I watched the staff of 5 interact with all types of customers and they handled them all professionally. (Some I would not have been so nice to.) So this is why they get the full five stars!
