Specialties
The University of Oregon has had programs in Portland for more than a century. The White Stag Block houses professional-level programs in architecture, strategic communications, digital arts, product design, law and Academic Extension. A variety of research centers and student support programs are also housed in Portland.
The White Stag Block hosts a variety of events — such as lectures, film screenings, art exhibitions, conferences and symposiums — to facilitate discussion and exploration surrounding current regional, national and global topics.
History
Established in 2008.
The White Stag Block is made up of three historic building renovated to a LEED-Gold standards. The buildings are the White Stag, Bickel and Skidmore. It is owned by Venerable Properties and while the University of Oregon is the largest tenant, the space is home to several other businesses.
