Tula comes from the Scandinavian word for «to bring together.» We see our gluten free bakery café as a way to bring together people of all kinds dietary restrictions to a communal, loving, sharing, creating experience centered around top notch food. Our kitchen is a dedicated gluten free facility because contamination can ruin a meal for people with celiac disease!

We offer many items that are also egg, dairy, and soy free. Our artisan and quick breads are made with your needs in mind — you don’t want to be left out and we want to help you get the best gluten free options around. We test our recipes on people that are not gluten free to make sure that everyone will enjoy our food!

We also serve locally-​sourced drinks including premium coffee beverages with beans from a small batch specialty roaster, premium loose leaf teas, house-​made coffee flavoring syrups, and chai tea lattes sure to please. Mieke J., the owner of Tula Gluten Free Bakery Café, is a gluten intolerant self taught cook who, together with her husband, decided to open a bakery café where people could come and eat together in a welcoming and safe environment. They have worked hard to create delicious baked goods, breads, and savory food items that everyone can enjoy. Every day working at Tula is a joy and they invite you to taste their delicious creations soon!
