Lots of options our group enjoyed a pulled pork sandwich, tatter tot bowl, and waffle sandwich. Everything was amazing.

We visited this food cart pod after hearing there was a 3 hour wait at Pok Pok nearby –_-. Who cares! This food cart pod had plenty of options. Ramen, waffles, Filipino food, tater tots, salads, Korean/Hawaiian food, craft sodas, and more! Each food cart its own personality, all encompassed within a charming atmosphere. In the middle of the pod was the gathering place, with plenty of tables for people to enjoy their food. We went on a late Saturday afternoon, which was pretty busy. Nonetheless, we were able to get good eats and enjoy the company there.

The first thing I looked up when I knew I was visiting Portland was the map of all food pods. They’re scattered all over the city, so I had to pick one that had the most vendors open on a Sunday. We stopped by here on the way to Seattle and found many trucks open. There were plenty of seating, benches, stools, etc. I got Namu, which is a fusion of Korean and Hawaiian! $ 8 Gogi Breakfast Kalua style pork, 2 fried eggs, rice and sauce. This reminded me of Hawaii! I loved it. The sauce was soooooooo good. There were other trucks that sold tacos, ramen, bubble tea, pastries.

Fantastic food pod. Lots of interesting choices and great shaded seating(we went on a 100 degree day). Sampled several food carts, best was the one doing ramen and the one doing waffles. The fact that they also serve beer is a huge plus.

Oh man, the Japanese curry with fried chicken bowl was so addictive. Also loved the corn dog bites and bibimbop. We came during the week so half of the carts were closed that day, not sure if that’s just a weekday thing or not. Plus it was SUPER hot out so thankfully there was the shaded seating but we couldn’t try as many hot items as we would have liked! Cute, fun place though, I think it’s a good pod to check out for sure.

So many food options! I sampled some chicken curry, corn dog bites, salad, and bibimbop. Then on the way out I grabbed a peach blueberry pie from the bakery pod. I ate that later with ice cream. It was amazing. Some of the carts were closed which was a bummer, but I was there during the week so maybe more of the carts are open on the weekend.

More great food than any pod in the Portland area! Covered eating area for those days when the sky opens and an uncovered area to enjoy the sun. Great Ramen, Beer, and a wonderful little Norsk spot:)

Great spot! Anything you desire is probably here. Great atmosphere, seating, heated and lighted! A firepit as well. We had a beer, shared a earth veggie burger and Indian food. Reasonable restrooms as well.

Super green and beautiful food pod with a ton of different types of food carts, some of the best in Portland, down on SE Division. A great place to spend an afternoon with friends outside. Be forewarned, it’ll be crowded!

What a great family friendly food pod! There’s just about everything for everyone. From coffee, ice cream, Thai, Japanese ramen, Korean/Hawaiian fusion, pizza, burgers, Scandinavian, and beer garden. I love all of the park benches in the center and the fire pit is a nice touch. There’s even a restroom. We stopped here on the way back from a road trip and it was a perfect casual spot to stop. Wish there was something like this in Seattle.

A food cart pod that grew up. It’s obvious the designers understand restaurant and hospitality flow, aesthetic and function. This is may favorite place to eat in Portland. I love the community vibe, the excellent use of light, and the best layout of any pod I’ve ever seen. Of course the owners of each cart pour their collective hearts into their fare, but what makes this pod is the synergy.

Saturday morning. Maybe two of the carts opened before 12p. I mean, great for the carts that opened around 11a. There were certainly perplexed people walking around looking for food. But that’s cart life, isn’t it. Barely legitimate businesses that are barely open when people want to eat during a societally normal meal time. There’s too many of you. And that’s why so few of you can stay open when I’m hungry. Is that not accurate?

Three of us came by for lunch on a cold and rainy Sunday afternoon, and we really enjoyed our visit to the Tidbit Food Farm and Garden. The tent was warm and comfortable, and the pod and bathrooms were clean and well tended. We purchased lunch from three different carts(Ingrid’s Scandinavian, Love Belizean and Smaaken Waffles), and were well pleased with the food. I recommend Tidbit Food Farm and Garden highly!

Great food cart pod! Such an eclectic collection– I was tempted to try everything! Clean, if spartan, restrooms. A roomy seating area in the center, well-lit. I went to Ingrids, to pay homage to my Norwegian heritage, and it was delicious! I will be back to visit more carts.

New favorite cart pod hands down! There is a huge selection of food! From ramen, Brazilian, Filipino, waffles, Indian, and of course Mexican. I am definitely leaving others out but let’s just call it the International for cart pod! Another big PLUSPLUS is they have a beer pod! This pod has a nice open fire and the lay out of the pod ensure everyone having a cozy place to sit and eat. The pod serves food but also flowers, produce sometimes, clothes and natural soaps and lotions! Talk about diverse and eclectic mix to the Division food neighborhood! I am excited to try all the different foods in the carts! A great place for the summer as well as possibly winter. Hopefully there will be heat lamps!

Important things to know: 1. This pod is on Division, within walking distance of Pok Pok(and salt and straw), so take some time to ponder your evening plans. 2. Monday nights are lousy for sampling food carts — most take the night off 3. Their«deluxe» restrooms are port-a-potties with a shed roof. And no sign of a sink or hand sanitizer station. Umm. 4. Variety! There are a lot of tasty-looking options, including more than just food. Fancy some flowers, some new jewelry, cute French accessories, or a vintage frock? Step right up. Three stars for the overall set-up, not for any individual vendor. If they really did sign a multi-year lease, I’d love to see upgraded restrooms and more options for variable weather.

Food cart pods are one of the most rapidly evolving Portland options for food and socialization. Early pods were a way for vacant lot owners to monetize a parking spot going for about $ 100 a month downtown into a $ 500 a month parking spot. Designers have entered the equation. And they have done a beauty at Tidbit. The food providing carts are well curated. There is a large seating area in the center to eat and talk. As of September-October, about 1⁄3 is covered. We will see what they do for rainy Winter. They have some low key portapotty bathrooms and a hand cleaning station tucked into a repainted shipping crate. And of course, they pour beer. One criticism of the customers. When I was there someone had their dog off leash and it was eating out of some low to the ground garbage cans, leaving garbage on the ground. Because of the neighbors, this is going to be a close at ten pod, many carts close at 9:30PM or earlier. Drop in and you will, as I did, find IRL friends! Great minds think alike!

The best spot in Portland. Drove by on my way to Broder, came back to check out the pod. Nothing, and I mean nothing like this exists in SFO, simply divine with out-of-this-world goodness. Buki has a grand opening with original Takoyaki that pretty much took my breath away! I don’t know how and why I have not tasted this until now, never even heard of it. The double decker tour bus for a vintage store, several air streamers to stake their territories like some sort of mystical land machine, kiwi berries were best eaten fresh off a basket, at $ 3 a box, get two and not one. Chat with the lady whose husband is from Southern France about the changing Portland while admire her floral arrangement, Hapa ramen looked deliciously simple, pizza with weird ingredients, Philippine, Swedish, Thai, Mexican, Belize, Americana… open air park bench and picnic table setting makes you want to chill out before and after eating. The vibe is right. The weather is perfect. The variety? Unseen before! You think you know what food truck culture is because you’ve been on this trend in SFO for years and have gone to too many off grids and festivals? Well, I was you once. I had set up a Twitter account just so I could follow Chairman Bao around back in the day. Way back! PDX is like Apple. They don’t proclaim to be the first at inventions, they simply know how to perfect it, to take it to the next level, to make it just so, so you will ditch all of your other tablets, smart phones or computers to become part of its family. If you are really a food truck connoisseur, you ought to make a trip to this place. Be prepared to become a convert.

The new cart pod on division! Looks very classy and chic! They have quite a variety in terms of food, ranginng from scandinavian, thai, mexican, korean, to some pdx favs like pyro pizza. Extra points for having a beer garden and a double decker shop! I went quite late around 9pm, and most of the carts were shut already. next time will go earlier and check out more places.
