Thrive is a state of the art anti-​aging clinic that serves the people of the Portland, Lake Oswego, Beaverton, Milwaukie, Clackamas, Vancouver, Tigard, and Oregon City. This practice is recognized for providing some of the best care in the area. Its founder and medical director, Dr. Adam Maddox, is highly qualified and has extensive experience in providing a range of anti-​aging services to his patients. Dr. Maddox graduated from the Northern Arizona University with honors. Following this, he attended the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, where he completed a four-​year medical program.

At his practice Dr. Maddox offers his patients a range of anti-​aging services. These include skin treatments, non-​surgical facelift, Botox and Dermal Fillers, Winkle Reduction treatments, Brown Spots and Melasma treatment, Acne and Scar Reduction, Rosacea and Redness reduction, Fat Removal and Body Contouring, Cellulite Reduction, Skin Lifting and Tightening, Sun and Brown Spot Removal, and etc.

Dr. Adam Maddox, medical director — Dr. Maddox is a board-​certified naturopathic physician with a specialty in the field of anti-​aging medicine. Originally from the Chicago area, he graduated with honors from Northern Arizona University in pre-​medical studies and chemistry. Following that, he moved to Portland to complete the four-​year medical program at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland.

They are really nice and the prices are fair. I didn’t feel like they were just trying to sell me the most expensive thing whether it works or not, which I have definitely experienced at other places. Overall I am glad I did the botox but the laser to remove spots on my face was very temporary– the spots came right back with little to no sun exposure. That could just be the nature of sun spots.

Professional services and a wonderful staff of caring, genuine people. The office is upscale, clean and from what I hear of their reputation people from all over the US seek this place out for their services. I can see why.
You will likely be greeted by the fabulous Maren when you arrive or call for an appointment. She is a sweetheart and fantastic at her job.
I have been seeing Tristan for laser hair removal and am loving the results! I have had my bikini and upper lip done so far and plan to go back for underarms and legs next.
After just 1 treatment I had a huge amount of hair loss in the bikini area. I also suffer from nasty ingrown hairs there and they have completely disappeared after 4 treatments. The upper lip took 2 treatments to see results, but I can tell the hairs are less and finer. I still have 4 more visits for my lip and 2 for my bikini and I anticipate I will be completely hairless at the end of the session. The best part is there is no redness, scarring or (too) much pain.
Tristan is a pro and all around awesome lady. She makes you feel comfortable and is truly compassionate. She really cares about her patients and you can feel that.

Impressed ! From my initial phone call to scheduling including office visit and procedure everything went great. I was in need of removing a small stubborn tattoo that was treated previously by another facility. Let me tell you with confidence Thrive’s staff and equipment are superior enjoyed by comparison! The office (s) and treatment rooms are very clean, modern and uncluttered. Time will tell how many treatments will be needed but I know for sure where I’ll be going.

I moved to Portland from LA and needed a good doctor to keep up on my natural botox look. I loved loved loved the work I got done. I have been going for almost 2 years now and always get the best work done, where no one can tell. I also got recently the lipotight which helps to get rid of stubborn fat I had on my love handles and stomach. After doing it I went down 2 pant sizes. Every time I go they remember me and are so nice. I highly recommend this place for multiple services.

Ok so I wrote a review for Botox a bit ago for here. Which btw I still always go here, but I had to go back on here to write about Lipotight because I am beyond impressed. I have always had love handles even working out regularly I can’t get rid of them. I was suggested to get Lipotight and omg I love love love it. I went back to LA the other weekend and all my friends said I looked skinner and I tried on pants and I am down 2 sizes! My love handles are gone. It didn’t hurt me and my friends joke and call the treatment a hot rock massage. It takes about an hour and I go right to work. It basically just melts the fat. I love it so much I am now going in for my stomach. I highly recommend going in for those stubborn areas.

I have been going to Thrive for the last few months for tattoo removal. The experience overall has been a positive one. I really like the staff, and they make the unpleasant task of tattoo removal as pleasant as possible. I’ve never had a problem scheduling an appointment and am seen on time. More importantly, I do see results. I’m working on two tattoos– one black and one colored. They were very honest from the beginning about what sort of results to expect and how long it would take. So far, they have been right on target.

I went in for Tatoo removal and was impressed at how professional and nice the place was. I was told 10 – 12 treatments for a small area and I decided to go for it. Four treatments later I was refered to another place in SE. After a treatment elsewhere I am convinced that Thrive was doing as little as possible to the area to extend my treatments. I have a tatoo the size of a quater. The new clinic I went to said half the time and I noticed a big diffrence.

I bought the six laser hair removal treatments through Groupon. The staff was really nice but I did have some trouble making appointments. After all six treatments (which I thought were relatively painful), I still had hair growth on my underarm. Tristen was the person doing the procedure (super nice) and until the last couple of treatments she had the machine on about the highest setting. Thrive called and asked how everything was going and when I said that I had hair growth still, the lady on the phone said I could either purchase one treatment for $ 100 or another package. Since I got the Groupon for around that price, it really didn’t seem worth it. I thought, well what if 7 treatments don’t work? Another $ 100? Since I didn’t get the results I wanted and they couldn’t work with me on price, I gave them 3 stars. Maybe others will have better luck.

Got the Groupon for hair removal. I have really sensitive skin and even when I use a brand new razor and Aveeno shave gel, which has no dyes or perfumes, my skin breaks out. I got the hair removal for my underarms and it is one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. It’s a long process — you have to go every 4 – 6 weeks for six visits — but now I have no underarm hair and no more irritated skin! Everyone who I spoke with or who conducted my service at Thrive was so professional and their office is very nice and clean. Definitely glad I bought the Groupon!

I bought a hair removal package on Groupon, booked my first appointment, and then came down with the plague. I was so sick that I completely forgot about my appointment and slept through it. When I called back to apologize, they mentioned that I had forfeited one of my package treatments. I felt that this was fair, since it was my fault for missing the appointment. However, when I showed up for my rescheduled appointment, I apologized again and was told that they would still honor all six of my treatments. So nice of them.
I have had two treatments so far, and both times I was amazed at the speed and relative painlessness. The regrowth is definitely much thinner than before I started. The technicians and receptionists are all very friendly. I would definitely recommend! So exciting to get rid of the unwanted hairs!

I recently purchased a set of hair removal treatments at this salon. The results have been absolutely 100%. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The treatments have been professional and thorough. I was using another service (with poor result) at Washington Square for 3 years until they shut down with no notice and some of my money was lost too. Now I realize it is possible to really get rid of facial hair economically with just a few treatments. I’m actually glad the other spa went out of business now!

I’ve had three appointments at this place and have been impressed. Super-​friendly staff that puts you at ease, great results to date, and super-​efficient — I’ve never been kept waiting more than five minutes for an appointment. I haven’t had any problem at all booking appointments, so I’m not sure if the previous reviewer has a particularly difficult schedule or if I’ve just been lucky — but I have zero complaints about my experience.

I purchased a groupon for laser hair removal and had 1 service (of 6) done and have not been able to find another appointment that fits my schedule. I think the center is wonderful and the lasers they use are top of the line. The staff is amazing. Everything about this place screams 5 stars but if you can’t get an appointment what good will that do you?
