We perform auto body and paint work to all vehicles but we specialize in Saab’s and Volvo’s. Having been born from atomic auto we have extensive experience and knowledge on how to best repair your vehicle. We have a state of the art paint department along with the latest three dimensional laser measuring system to repair your vehicle back to it’s pre-​loss condition.

History

Established in 2011.

We were founded in order to serve our customers, we found that there just weren’t any shops specializing in Volvo’s or Saab’s and our clients were not being treated the way we felt they should. our purpose for being is to simplify the process and to give our client an advocate in the repair process.

Meet the Manager

David H.

Manager

David was born and raised in the North West and truly loves everything Oregon and Washington have to offer. He is third generation in the auto body industry, and has over twenty years experience working in the shop and has personally performed every step necessary to properly repair your vehicle.

Quality and customer service are our focus and we want to repair your vehicle back to the way it was prior to the accident. We work for the consumer and will keep you informed throughout the process.

David has worked all insurance companies and has the experience necessary to communicate in a way to expedite your repair.

This is a long overdue review. I messed the hood up on my Acura and needed to get it fixed. I was referred here by a friend who had word done one their car so I went in and talked to JD. He was extremely nice and was able to get my car fixed quicker and less expensive than the places I had talked too. They didn’t cut any corners and they also didn’t pressure me into fixing anything else on my car (which there are a lot of things that need to be done) like other places were doing. Even though I hope to not get in any more situations where I will need to get body work, if I do, I will be going back here

Absolute 5 star experience. Another great locally owned business right here in inner NE Portland. We’ve been here twice in the past few months. First time was for a detail. They did a terrific job on our Toyota Prius. Super clean. Highly professional. The owner of the business (Travis) even came over to personally thank us for our business. Wow! The second visit was for repair of a minor fender bender on our other car. The estimate was handled quickly and the price was the best we found after getting two other estimates. The work was done quickly and to perfection! Love this place. 5 stars all the way.

David and the gang at atomic auto are in your corner! After a small accident, our insurance company tried to total out our car and rape us at a fraction it’s worth. David got us literally double after battling them and then fixed the car to better than before status, while at the same time keeping some change in our pocket. These guys are the jam. Use them, trust them, get psyched that you finally have found the reason to forever own saabs! Although I am sure they rule at handling all automobiles.

I have a new car! It’s like my car was never hit in the first place! David and JD handled everything from the insurance claim to the rental car. What could have been a huge headache turned into a great experience. I can’t in my right mind recommend anywhere else when it comes to body work. They so far exceeded my expectations!

The guys at Swedish Auto Body are the only auto experts I trust my Saab with. They’re always honest, flexible, and try to find the best deal for you. I’ve never felt pressured or steamrolled into unnecessary fixes or upgrades. I’ve gone to Atomic Auto for years before my auto accident, and Swedish Auto Body (right next door) fixed my car up like new after my accident. They also have an expert appraiser, who helped me get my insurance company to pay an appropriate value for my car repair. I will continue to be a customer, thanks to their expertise and manner!
