There is no one better than Bob and his team at Convention Center Auto Body. They are true professionals and very communicative, calling with updates every step of the way. On top of great service, the repairs on my vehicle have been perfect, with no detail left out. They are the nicest guys to work with and there is no where else I’ll take my car for auto body needs.

I got two nearly equal bids for repair of a scrape on the right rear of my Subaru Forester. A removal of the rear bumper panel was required for the new paint job. I selected Convention Center because Bob, who attended to me, seemed very professional, they could get to my car within a few days, and the Unilocal reviews and other sources were favorable. The bumper had been removed once before and that caused a bit of a complication in the work, unknown at the time of the bid. Bob informed me about it and then volunteered to absorb the extra work and complete the job within the original estimate. They finished in the three days they forecast. I am very pleased with the work. Convention Center is a smaller shop than a few others I have dealt with in the past, and I appreciated the friendly and non-​bureaucratic service.

This is the auto body shop to use. A no-​brainer considering the other reviews on Unilocal and on Google.

This was the easiest process that I’ve experienced in a long time. I was procrastinating on getting some much needed work done, but I have to say, working with Convention Center Auto Body is very seamless.
I just had some body damaged fixed here. Thank you Bob, for your friendly and helpful service. Got updates from Bob every couple days with a progress report and an estimated time to completion. Work was completed on a timely basis.
I’ve worked with another local auto body shop in the past, and this was night and day, compared to the other shop, leaps and bounds better service at CCAB.
Tip: if you rent a car from Enterprise, they will drop your rental car off at the shop and have it there waiting for you when you drop your damaged vehicle off. That way you don’t need a ride. When the work is completed, you can leave your rental car at the shop when you pick up your vehicle. Super convenient that you don’t need to make multiple trips everywhere!
The nice touch at the end, my car was spotless in the inside. Vacuumed and dusted. Felt like a new car! Thank you Bob, Bud and staff for your awesome service! We will not go anywhere else for auto body repair!

I was initially referred to Convention Center Auto Body by TVG Volvo service. I have an older Volvo station wagon and did not want to get a brand new bumper for a fender bender. They located a gently used bumper for replacement that worked out great at considerable savings. I have returned a couple of times since for unrelated dents and dings and they have exceeded my expectations in each instance. They are communicative, conscientious, reliable and honest. I highly recommend these guys.

I got into a fender bender and needed to get my bumper fixed. Bud and Bob were incredible. It took about almost 2 weeks to get my car back due to difficulty getting my bumper from the Toyota dealership but Bob kept me in the loop the entire time, calling me anywhere from every couple days to a couple times a day, depending on what new updates were occurring. I could tell they were invested in trying to help me get my car back in top condition as soon as possible. When I finally went back to pick up my RAV, the bumper looked amazing and they fixed the license plate so it looked brand new instead of bent like crazy. The also washed my car and vacuumed the inside. In addition, they touched up a couple spots with paint for free when I asked. I would highly recommend Convention Center Auto Body!

Highly recommend these guys. Worked with Bob through the whole process, start to finish. His customer service was top notch, and deserves to be recognized for it.
Estimated completion time for the repair was 5 – 7 business days, they had it done and back in my possession within 4 days. Fully recognize this isn’t the scenario in all instances, but always appreciated when it does occur.
Damage repairs were flawless, they even touched up a couple dings in other spots of the car completely unrelated to the claim. Oh, and they washed the car, buffed it up AND vacuumed the interior. This has to be the nicest my car has looked in years just from the cleaning alone!
They worked directly with my insurance on overage cost the insurance did not originally quote. No hassles whatsoever, and did not require my involvement at all.

Had my galant repaired here, These guys are great, Super nice and SUPER HONEST. They have exceeded my expectations. I accidentally found them on Unilocal while looking for a shop in Portland. I was inquiring around, I almost gave up, I told myself, I’m never gonna find an honest shop around this area, luckily I found them.

These guys and gals care. A lot. They will keep you up to date with the repairs and handle everything with insurance. I don’t want to have to use them again, but if I do I will be relaxed knowing that Bob, Stefan and the rest have my back. Thanks!

These guys offered to store my truck inside when it was broken into since I was visiting from out of state and it was gonna take a couple says to get the glass! Best prices on auto glass new or used! 4 stars since they didn’t vacuum up the broken glass from under the seat when I later brought in my Subaru. Good folks!

My f150 was referred to Convention Autobody from Landcruiser NW for a lot of work after I hit a deer coming home from the beach with my young family. All of the paint and body work came back in showroom shape. However, what totally and completely impressed me was the interior and exterior detail my truck received while at the shop. All of the pounds of sand and kiddy snacks vanished! Way above and beyond, I don’t want to let my kids back in it!!! I’m showing the quality of work to everyone, and telling anyone who’ll listen. Strong work.

So glad TVG recommended this place for my Volvo when I was rear ended 6 weeks ago. They hooked me up with rental service so I could drop my car off to start the repairs. Communication is great! Now my only nightmare is the other insurance company.

Cant think of any down side to this place. Bud, Bob, Keli, perform magic, i swear. thought my car was totalled (no insurance), and in a little more than a week my ride was lookin better than it ever has, they even cleaned the inside (yikes) like new. amazing x a billion. they even painted my front door for my beach house and i get everybody complimenting the job they did on em.

Not only the best and most competent body shop I have ever encountered in my 16 years of working with automobiles, but one of the best looking owners I have ever seen (And you’re welcome, Bud). Seriously, every time I have had my vehicle’s little bumps and bruises fixed and repaired, I have trouble locating the originaL damaged

Everytime I use Convention Center Auto body I get a warm welcome and great service at a fair price. They are very trustworthy folks with Bob and Bud running the place you have nothing to worry about as you will be leaving your car in good hands.

Unfortunately for me I had to go see these guys for the 2^nd time, FORTUNATELY for me I had to go see these guys! They were referred to me by a friend and man oh man do they do GOOD work. Bob, Bud, thanks for taking care of my car, I appreciate your work, honesty and ethics… something not always found in your industry.

This place is as legit as they come.
My 24 year old Toyota truck was backed into about 4 months ago. The nice lady who did it left a note and I added «fix truck» to my to do list. I shopped around Portland looking for someone to give it the full service, but I was surprised to find very few shops interested in the job. The truck was old, so in addition to needing a new front panel, I was on the hunt for a paint job. I figured the timing was perfect. Hmmmm… now all I needed was a shop that could take on the whole kit n’ kaboodle.
Bud at Convention Center Auto Body was the first guy at 3 shops that I visited. His estimate was the lowest. Even though I was getting money from someone else’s insurance, I had the best feeling about CCAB. Bud seemed to really appreciate the special nature of my project, and he really liked my truck. Most of all he was responsive, told me he would work with me, and lobbied for my business without being overly aggressive or salesy. I was pleased when I selected CCAB to take on the repairs.
When I brought the truck in for a more thorough consultation, Bud asked me all about what I wanted the finish product to look like. He made recommendations on things that I could do to prepare the truck myself, thereby saving me money on the labor side of the bill. Seriously? I thought — this guy is working himself out of a job with his honesty! We set up a date that I could drop the truck off and I proceeded to follow his instructions on getting her ready for an overhaul.
I dropped the truck off and we agreed on some added services. He revised the estimate very reasonably, sent me the update, and they began to work away. Over the course of the next 10 days I got updates, photos, and had all my questions answered (where do I get a bumper? Aftermarket or junkyard?) The guys at CCAB ended up doing so much extra work for me that they took two extra days to finish, but they didn’t charge me any more than we had agreed upon. Bud stayed true to his word the entire time, keeping me informed on the regular. He was a stand up dude to work with.
I felt like a new parent when I went to pick up the truck. They had done such good work I hardly recognized her. Cleaned, washed, cured, and with added features like bed tie downs that they installed and then painted to match the bedliner.
These guys are pros. I would recommend Convention Center Auto Body to anybody who asks. Sure, I also recommend you shop around. But I think you’ll realize where your money will go the furthest.
