Both of my daughters attended Sunshine School for preschool, and now that they are in elementary school, they come back for «off days» (when portland public schools are closed). I love the administrators and the caring staff. They are great at working with all of the kids and keeping them engaged in different learning and fun activities. My girls also attend their summer camp, which is really great (even swimming included!)
They also have a great aftercare program with different enrichment activities. My girls take piano lessons there after school one day each week.

We started taking our son here after we noticed he was having trouble behaving at school and realized that lack of supervision while at school was partly to blame! We met with the principal Jennifer browning and she was the most delightful and understanding woman! We explained our concerns and set up a plan for our son! She was so accommodating and sweet never making us or him to feel like we had done something wrong! He has been going there ever since with a huge improvement in behavior! Yay ! The class sizes are great and the teaches wonderful and friendly! Our son has now began to love learning and school and he is appreciated and acknowledge for the gifts he does have! Thank you sunshine for being so amazing!

Sunshine school is a wonderful warm environment for children. Their preschool and kindergarten program includes arts and crafts, music, snacks, lunch and daily exercise time either outside or inside. You can’t beat the staff who are so welcoming and loving to your little one. My daughter has attended for two years and she can’t wait for the days she gets to go to preschool! The school is designed for the working parent so you can go to work and know you child is in good hands all day.
