Sugar Magnolia Massage

I don’t often treat myself to a massage, so when I do I carefully research where I go. Being a deadhead, the name Sugar Magnolia was certainly a plus! But that alone was not enough. The other factors I considered were Carlee’s website, bio, and the consistently positive Unilocal reviews. New client discount was also a plus, so I opted for the 90 minute deep tissue. I’m happy to say my research paid off as I’ve never had a better massage. The pressure was exactly right, and Carlee asked for feedback about it. Conversation was limited to the massage, which I really appreciate. I don’t care for trying to make conversation during a massage, yet I also don’t like complete silence, either. I appreciated Carlee pointing out knots when she found them, and letting me know what she was working out when she encountered a difficult area. Good person, good office, and good location. I was so impressed I even decided to buy a gift certificate to give to my daughter!

Carlee is great. I’ve seen her several times now, and I’ve always left feeling even better than I’d hoped. Able to focus in well on trouble areas (a chronic issue in my shoulder, for me) but also keep an eye on the overall experience of the massage.

Carlee is amazing! She is a master at draping, and the time she took on warm up made me feel so relaxed. She knew exactly what was wrong with me, without me telling her. I will so be back!!! I will recommend her to all my friend’s Thanks so much!

I work sitting in front of a computer most of the day and had some lower back tension and stress. I have gotten use to the dull ache back there, and it wasn’t until after my massage that I remembered how it feels to sit in a chair and not have that ache. I walked away from her practice a new man and I’m planning on making a monthly visit from now on. Carlee is great!
