am a professionally trained and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner in Portland, Oregon. I started on my road to a career in hypnotherapy in a very organic way. I first began to explore hypnotherapy for myself The things I learned in that arena, coupled with my natural desire to be «of service,» translated into positions working with children with social and learning disabilities in a public school and adults with weight loss issues. I, like many others, started out skeptical, it was my own experiences with the natural hypnotic states we all pass through in day to day living, that allowed me to take the plunge. It’s really just the simple act of taking a mental break from whatever anxiety you may be dealing with, and allowing yourself the space and calm to «really» hear your needs and desires. In my experience, hypnotherapy, is the most powerful tool there is for resolving issues and moving past the mental blocks that keep you from what it is you really want in life.
