Specialties

Focusing on craftsmanship and customization, The Sticks & Stones store offers complete customization on their jewelry, whether you want something engraved, a gemstone added or if you want to provide your own materials with significant meaning. All the jewelry showcased at the new Sticks & Stones flagship is made in-house. Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted and requires over a dozen steps of production before it is finished over a two week span.

Along with the jewelry, Sticks & Stones has filled the store with a curated selection of American made brands that produce everything from clothing, accessories and home goods. The cohesive aesthetic of the store is more of a tribute to the lifestyle and personality of the Sticks & Stones brand and consumer.

Not to mention the store will also feature artists (both locally and nationally) as a participant of First Thursday in the local art community. Each month a new featured artist have a installation that will be available to view all month.

History

Established in 2009.

Originating in the Pacific Northwest, Sticks & Stones was founded on the principle that re-purposed natural materials could be utilized in the construction of sustainable jewelry and accessories. Using materials such as reclaimed exotic wood, elk antler sheds, prehistoric ivories, fine metals, seashells and gemstones, Sticks & Stones spearheaded the movement of uniting nature and modern design with uniquely handmade products.

Sticks & Stones’ in-house manufacturing is an intricate process of technology and skilled craftsmanship. Each product goes through various stages of preparation, sanding and dipping in a custom oil blend. The oil not only cures and protects the wood but also enhances the wood’s luster. The strength and durability of these products are a testament to the quality of the material and craftsmanship that is invested in each piece.

All products are handcrafted in Portland, OR USA.
