History

Established in 1978.

SHOEMILL operates fine footwear retail stores specializing in quality shoes and accessories. A Pacific Northwest company which opened for business in October 1978 has been operating now for over 30 years. The result of the vision of a hard working and dedicated husband/​wife team, it has grown from a single store into the major independently owned shoe retailer in the region.

Our unique merchandise mix is the envy of the industry, as we have combined many of the most sought after brands with exclusive products gleaned from exceptional manufacturers worldwide. We have illustrated this concept in our corporate logo which includes the tag line, «We put the world at your feet».

Meet the Manager

Ahmed K.

Manager

Ahmed is the store Manager of the Shoe Mill location at the Washington Square Mall. Ahmed has worked at Shoe Mill for 10 years and worked his way up from a part time salesperson to his current position as store manager. Ahmed brings a joyful demeanor to the store, always looking for ways to make his customers smile. Of course, like all managers at Shoe Mill Ahmed has a true talent for fitting shoes. Ahmed is a fit expert taking an interest in foot maladies to better himself with unique customer situations. Also, having attended numerous ongoing training seminars on fit, biomechanics and overall function of footwear and arch support insoles, Ahmed is able to recognize foot conditions which can be improved with proper support and fit.

Ahmed is a GREAT team member and we are proud to have such an enthusiastic member of the Shoe Mill management team.
