Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

We were thrilled when we found out that a Sherwin Williams was opening near us. For those of you who haven’t been, this location shares a parking lot with QFC, so if you’re in the middle of painting purgatory, you can buy a quick bite to eat quite easily, too.
We’ve been on numerous paint runs to this location, and are pleased to report that the parking/​driving is much pleasanter than the Broadway location and that the staff are always very friendly. It ain’t Benjamin Moore – there are no helpful color experts on staff – but the paint is fabulous; we’ve never done more than one coat with SW’s Cashmere paint, even when making radical color changes using no primer.
Also, when we went last weekend, a fabulous associate was able to answer so many questions: which prep tape to use, which primer for various materials, how long paint lasts in the can, how to preserve paint, etc. It was quite an education. I feel bad, but I forget his name. I believe it was Jeremy, but can’t be certain.
So, all in all, highly recommended.
