Pizza is insanely delicious. $ 8 for a one-size fits all pizza. Worth a trip to Tidbit — brick and mortar not required.

Made from scratch. Dough is Washington wheat and white flour. The pork belly on the 4-cheese«Special» we ordered is sourced from Nikki farms. Also with thinly sliced red onions and red potatoes. Uses local when impossible. Sauce made from scratch. Let’s give thus wood fired pie a go! Heard from some reliable Unilocalers this may be some of the best pizza in PDX! I’ve eaten at Mozza in Pasadena(Mario Bartelli’s delicious super thin crust pizza, which is my benchmark favorite) and some James Beard award winners here in PDX, like Oven and Shaker and Ken’s artisan pizza — to list a few. I also like A Pizza Schools and Dove Vivi in PDX. Pyro is super! I like the, cooked through and through. Not soggy yet yummy chewy — likin the chew. Gog plenty of ingredients, well balanced taste. Gotta come back for more, however it’s located on a pod with many other food carts. Pyro — best food cart pizza!

show me a better $ 10 pizza. Great vibe at this cart pod — one of the best in Portland.

As soon as I smelled Pyro’s pizza cooking, I knew that’s what I wanted. I was happy to learn they had vegan options and they don’t charge extra. My daughter had the margherita pizza and I got the spinach. Both had vegan cheese and both were delicious! I slightly preferred my daughter’s pizza so next time I’m making mine the magherita. The service was very good and friendly.

Fantastic crust. The only real deficiency is their lack of buffalo mozzarella as a topping.

This pizza was okay, it just seemed small for $ 8. It wasn’t in my top ten of pizzas but it was not bad either. I would probably pick a more interesting cart, flavor wise if I come here again.

It’s absurd that Pyro has a 3.5 rating. My Division brethren, y’all should be ashamed of yourselves. A mainstay at Cartopia on Hawthorne(and seeing it through until the end), Pyro has always been one of the best. Division is now«Pizza Plaza» and you can get pizza at almost any joint. Why go to Pyro? The price. The dough. The quality. If I want a cheap pizza to eat on my own, Pyro is my place. If I want a different experience, then I will probably stroll down to Pizza Maria. But there’s no reason for Pyro to be anything less than 4.5. Bottom line this is quality pizza folks and these guys rock.

These guys are one of my favorite carts in PDX. They are always friendly and the pizza is the shitttttt. The dough is really the secret… It’s made from fairy dust.

Friendly service. I suggest calling first to make sure the oven is ready to go. The sausage pizza I had was delicious. The crust was thicker than I expected. It is not the thin, crispy, partially burnt crust that results often with this style of cooking. I enjoy both styles of crust and maybe my specific pizza was cooked this way and maybe at times it is more burnt. Anyway if you like pizza try one. They have take out boxes or just eat under the tent with a beer from the nearby beer cart.

Wood fired pizza that you can eat in front of a wood fire pit! The pizza taste light, and I don’t have a grease panic after eating their pizza. The crust is chewy and crispy, kind of hard to get that consistency! I love when the pizza dough bubbles, and they certainly have that. The toppings could be a little better. I like to see variety, and the menu has but a few options to order. The size of the pizza is kind of odd. It’s a little too much to finish on your own, but not enough to share with a friend. I guess you can get a box and take some home for left overs. Bonus: You can grab a beer from the beer stand in the same food cart pod and eat pizza by the fire on a cold Portland night. Maybe get a coozy for the beer !

Other than a decent crust, there was no other reason to eat this pizza. The whole pizza was bland, even the pepperoni was bland. How is that even possible? It was a 15 min wait made longer because they forgot my order until I went up there. They pretended they didn’t but I was watching who got food and people ordering after I did were getting food. I said something and they played it off. Annoying, for sure. In any event, much better pizza around town and better food in this pod.
