3. If you need to miss or make up a class, that’s ok! Make-up classes are available at your level during the week you miss your class. In addition you may miss up to 2 classes in a session and get credit for them during the next session
History
Established in 2010.
Portlandia Language School was established in the summer of 2010. Walter Osorio it’s director saw the need for a school that would provide a good learning environment with a strong emphasis in conversation, as well as the study of the Latin American Cultures as a way to get a better understanding of the Spanish language background. His continuos process of adapting to the American culture by the rapid increase of the Hispanic population in the United States.

Business Owner
As a native of El Salvador his first language is Spanish. After studying at Reed College, Lewis & Clark College and the University of Oregon, Walter became a Spanish medical interpreter in Portland.
Walter enjoys meeting new people and sharing with others his culture and language. Walter loves helping people improve their cultural understanding and language skills. He believes that immersion is the best way in learning a second language which why is why he started this school and formed a Meetup group.
