History

Established in 2012.

PDX Clean Team was formerly Francis Cleaning Service which started in 1988. Francis Cleaning was providing green, sustainable cleaning methods for their clients in recent years and decided to take these practices to small business owners who also want their work environments toxic-​free.

PDX Clean Team was born from Francis Cleaning Service where I gained 24 years experience working in both residential and commercial cleaning.

For a number of years I have become increasingly aware of how my industry’s practices have contributed to the toxicity of our environment (both in-​door air quality and out-​door water quality). This has caused me to phase out using harmful commercial chemical cleaners in favor of safe and natural cleaning products.

I also have the belief that incorporating sustainable cleaning techniques should not be anymore costly than not using them. I create my own products using safe and simple ingredients (like baking soda and vinegar and essential oils) at no extra cost to my clients. These products, although safe, are no less effective in disinfecting, deodorizing, and cutting through dirt or grime.

PDX Clean team is made up of a conscientious crew who are eager to please and want to make your work environment non-​toxic and dirt-​free.
