Decent guys, but a little pricey. I’ve lived in the UK and there’s nothing mysterious about Land ROvers. Nothing different than a Ford or Chevy in the US but a lot of BMW, Mercedes, and LR shops like to put on an air of complicity to justify overcharging you. The big negative at this shop is that they will put their logo license plate cover on your car without even asking. After my initial WTF???, I just took them off. Not big on the free advertising.

I have been taking my car here for over two years now. I believe they are the best antidote to dealer service and repairs. There is something to be said about a family owned business where the owners are passionate about the vehicle and its owner. Their office wall is chock full of accolades from grateful customers, and their mechanics the thoughtful and honest. I am pretty sure that you can find someone somewhere cheaper to fix your Land Rover, but this outfit will beat inflated local dealer prices on most mundane service and repair items, and do a satisfactory job that meets manufacturer standards.
One thing I miss is their old waiting room inside the service bay where you were smack in the middle of the action, and could watch you car being worked on while you waited. Another improvement they can make is not have the customer fill out the «new customer» form every time you go there. This is 2011, and customer and vehicle info should all be on their computers.

PDX-​Bend Rovers is one amazing and honest and fast and (yes FUN) place to take your Land Rover to, for repairs and general maintenance!
We own two Land Rovers, a Disco I and a P38. Both are old and need lots of love :-) We are AVID Land Rover fans and would do anything to keep our cars on the road and happy for many more years to come.
PDX Rovers is an independent Land Rover repair shop and the ONLY one who we will EVER take our cars to. Francis and Elsa own the place and have been running it successfully for many years now (and they just expanded to Bend too!). They are honest and upfront with their diagnoses. Never have I been disappointed or displeased with anything they have ever done for both our cars.
Competitive pricing (lets face it, Land Rover repairs are kinda pricey) and always punctual with their delivery of the finished (fixed) product.
I would highly recommend PDX Rovers to anyone in need of maintenance and repair on their Land Rovers. Old or new. Big or small.

Wonderful family owned shop with great service!
I am a female college student who owns a 1998 range rover, so I don’t know alot about car parts and my car needs routine maintenance. PDX rovers didn’t make me feel intimidated to come into their shop, ask questions, and be honest with me about what my car absolutely needed and what it didn’t necessarily need right away, no other car repair place has been able to do this for me.
They did a routine inspection for free, an oil change for $ 25 AND even fixed an annoying beep that came on every time I turned my car on, for free! I will definitely be going back, and if you are wondering where to take your land rover, THIS IS THE PLACE!

PDX Rovers is the best independent Land Rover repair garage in Portland. In fact it is probably the only one!
I bought a Range Rover when I moved out here 5 months ago and I struggled with the idea of buying a used foreign car. Most of the struggles came from not precisely knowing the history of it and the high costs of having to fix something. I knew I needed a 60k mile service done so I called Rasmussen, the Land Rover dealer. They wanted over $ 1,000 for it. Francis and PDX Rovers did it for less than $ 500! Oil changes are only $ 25 if you go to their website and print off the coupon before you go.
PDX Rovers have put my fears at ease and I know that I have an honest, thorough, and experienced auto mechanic that is very fairly priced. Now if only I can find an Audi guy for my wife’s car…
