Description

Specialties

Hi, my name is Tim. I practice a system of manual therapy called Rolfing, also known as Structural Integration. Rolfing is a form of soft-tissue manipulation that focuses on the connective tissue in the body called fascia. Rolfing helps people move easier and get out of pain.

History

Established in 2014.

I came to Rolfing Structural Integration because I knew that something in me needed to change. I had spent many sedentary years behind a computer and had been suffering from chronic pain. I was no longer happy with my work or with my body.

During my first session, I was incredibly intrigued by how my Rolfer was working with my body. I hadn’t received bodywork like that before. When he was done, I got up off the table and I was able to walk without pain for the first time in months. I was hooked. I applied to the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration as soon as I had completed my 10 Series.

I am excited about Rolfing SI because it gives people so much more than just pain relief: it gives them options. You explore new ways to move, new ways to understand your body, and new ways to relate to the ever-present force of gravity. It is common for people to observe that the effects and benefits of Rolfing SI are progressive and unfold in the months and years that follow their sessions

I chose to be a Rolfer because of how greatly I benefited from receiving the work. I love working with my hands and interacting with people in a meaningful way.
