Oregon Urology Clinic

The Oregon Urology Clinic completely took advantage of my circumstance. As a 25 year old former cancer patient I scheduled an appointment to test my post chemotherapy fertility. They told me because my visit was related to cancer it would be covered. I went in to meet the doctor, who told me that I was in the wrong place and referred me to a nearby fertility clinic.
I received a $ 400 bill for my 3 minute appointment. They didn’t even attempt to bill my insurance. I called and spoke with an extremely rude woman in their billing department, and later on a nice woman who told me that she would but a hold on the charge until she did some research to see if she could help me out. Two weeks later (today) I got a bill from a collection agency requesting payment.
So, that’s my experience.
