Banish all images of tutus or Jules Feiffer’s long haired, black leotarded «modern dancer» celebrating springtime with leaps and glides. This company brings together human forms in ways and with effects that you’ve never imagined to music familiar as well as new. International, cutting edge choreography and dancers create new material of outstanding quality, all in our little Portland town. How did we get so lucky? A priceless bonus is the opportunity to sit alongside a working rehersal (sans performance costumes, make-​up, lighting) in the dance studio, watching a soon-​to-​be-​presented work as it is tweaked and polished.
