North Star is a cozy, fun, coffeehouse. We carry STUMPTOWN coffee and espresso that is always made to perfection. Our baristas are fun, outgoing and make your experience special every visit. We always have tasty made to order breakfast and lunch not to mention incredible pastries.

History

Established in 2012.

This coffeehouse has been around for 10 years and has changed hands a number of times. We love the community here and are here to stay.

Meet the Business Owner

Kaila, Catherine B.

Business Owner

Kaila has managed a number of businesses but this is her first venture as a business owner. Her number one concern is making her guests happy and giving them a killer cup of coffee. Although she has only been in the business of coffee for a few years she loves every second of it! Kaila loves to hear customers thoughts and ideas and is always looking for ways to make her business more enjoyable for the people that matter which is all of you.

Catherine is easily one of the best barista’s in Portland. Every time she makes a drink it is perfection in a cup. She has been at this for over ten years and it shows! This is Catherine’s first time as a business owner as well, but with years of experience the transition from manager to owner has been an easy one. Like Kaila the guest always come first and she looks to exceed all expectations. Her fun outgoing personality is just a bonus that comes with her incredible drinks.
