Nob Hill Travel

A large group of friends have been going to Mexico for a few years now and have always used Nob Hill Travel to book our plans. They have always given us top notch service, even with people spread all over the place. There are sometimes 10 of us going, all paying separately, staying in all kinds of room setups etc. We show up to Mexico and every single time it is seemless. On top of that — each year our travel agent remembers us and remembers some of the little details from the year before. I live a state away and will certainly use them again in the future for other trips!

I was extremely disappointed with them. It started off good. They squeezed us in for an appointment right before they closed. Our agent stayed about an hour late to talk with us about our trip. We are going to Italy, Greece and Croatia, and we are planning on visiting several cities in each country. She seemed like she know what she was talking about so we put down a $ 250 deposit to work with her.
She said she would send us an email with information about our trip in the next 2 days. When we didn’t get an email I called her and she said she would send something next week. Again she sent nothing so I called again because I found cheap airfare online and wanted to book it before it went up. She looked at the same flight, but for her to book it for us it was $ 300 more, so we booked our main flight to Rome ourselves. To make a long story short she kept saying she was working on it and would send info, but then never did because more important stuff kept coming up. After 3 ½ weeks of her doing nothing I asked her to either send us what she had been working on or give us our deposit back. She said she would send us something in 2 days, but again she failed. I called and she said that she had planned on working on our trip but some things came up that couldn’t wait. I told her I couldn’t wait any longer and she was nice enough to give us our deposit back in full.
We found another travel agent and gave them all of the places we wanted to go. Within 2 days they gave us a full outline of hotels, tours, and transportation to and from all of the places we wanted to visit. This made me realize how terrible Nob Hill Travel really was. If you are flying anywhere abroad I recommend staying away from Nob Hill Travel Co!
