New Dimension Body & Paint

Dannie was approachable, extremely helpful and made easy work of my car. Sometimes going into in for bodywork feels like going into the dentist for a root canal — its painful, confusing and costly.

I usually keep to myself when I am unpleased with something, but for 3 years I have been looking at the sub-​par paint job on my car every day, and it bothers me every single time.
To be fair, I want to preface this by explaining that I am not an average customer. I am a very avid car enthusiast and have spent countless hours building and tuning the turbo system and engine management in the car, as well as working out all the cosmetic issues to make it as close to perfect as possible. So, as you can imagine, I am very picky.
Also, Dannie did cut me a deal on my deductible after the work had been done which is worth noting.
On to what happened…
When I brought the car in for repair, I thought I made it clear that I expected it to be as good as it came from the factory. Dannie assured me it would. He was very friendly, professional, and seemed to know his trade well, so I trusted him.
When I got the car back, here is what I found:
–Faint tape lines and orange peel at the edges of the panels that had been painted.
–Rock chips in the original paint had been painted over, rather than properly filled and sanded.
–The door seal had been sliced off the car with a knife, which left small gashes in it which were clearly visible.
–The rear fender liner had somehow been cracked.
–The speaker grille on the inside of the door had been broken, likely due to an attempt at removing the door panel.
–And finally, a few months later, sanding marks started to show through on the area that had been repaired accompanied by tiny bubbles under the paint.
I spoke to Dannie about my concerns and he claimed that there wasn’t really any other way to have done the job, but offered to re-​spray it anyway, and replace the parts that had been broken. I opted to not have him re-​spray the car for fear of doing more damage, but accepted the offer for replacement of broken parts.
I never heard anything back from them on the parts, and my calls about the matter were never returned, so I eventually gave up.
As mentioned earlier, Dannie did cut me a deal on my deductible, which was nice, but hardly makes up for damage to my most prized possession.
In conclusion, If you are a car enthusiast, or are just picky about your car being absolutely perfect, I urge you NOT to take it to New Dimension.

My girlfriend was recently in a car accident and needed some relatively minor body work done. We received other 2 estimates one for $ 1700 and one for $ 1500. Then we went to Dannie at New Dimensions, he was immediately more friendly and accommodating than the other 2 shops. He asked what we were looking for and told us our options. He was friendly, honest, and seemed to genuinely care about us getting the best service and repairs for the right price which was $ 900. He got the job done quickly and it looks great.
