Let’s just start by saying I had an amazing experience! I ordered the mole plate. It was incredible! Not being from Portland, I will probably dream about the flavors until the next time I can visit. For those needing to eat gluten-free, everything on the menu is currently glutenfree. For me, this was a great sense of releif since I can’t eat anything with gluten. I also got to meet the woman behind the recipes — very humble and hard working. It was worth the drive!

Very very very good. Fresh. I tried torn chili tamal and the mole bowl. Mole is smokey, mild+. Quality chicken and black beans. French cabbage/pico. The tamal came with rice and black beans. Sour cream and salsa. Plies the cabbage/pico. I’ll be back.

I am in love with this food cart, or maybe just their Mole Bowl! The staff is super friendly, and you receive your food within a few minutes. The only reason I took off one star was because I’ve been there on three different occasions when the staff member leaves and doesn’t leave a sign telling you when they’ll be backw. The first time I waited 10 minutes for them to come back. I’m a patient person and didn’t mind, but wished I could’ve known what time they were returning.

Delicious and big! Chileajo tamale was delicious and huge! Check ‘em out. Veggie options, too!

More & more its hard to believe Willamette Week, but they got it right in their praise for this place. I had the mole plate, wondered about the $ 13 price – I was quite filled and had 2 leftover tacos. very tasty mole, plenty of chicken and sauce. I’m the guy who keeps the different things on his plate from touching but i was putting all i could into the pool of mole – savory, dark, oily. & the tacos were the very substantial & yummy. Melba had the Oaxacena tamale, which tasted great to me but she’s a gourmet cook and more discerning. friendly service.
