Mississippi Ave. Lofts

Well, we’ve been here a year already, and it has flown by! Still a 5-​star living environment, management continues to excel and do their best to make living here pleasurable. Absolutely no complaints. Didn’t even raise our rent that much upon renewal. (a little, but not all the way to current market rate, so I see no issue there!)

From the day I moved in until now, Mississippi Avenue Lofts has been more like a welcoming refuge than just another place to lay my head. It has a warmth, both in its gracious appointments (all my friends are jealous of my appliances and natural wood paneling), and more importantly, in the people who run it. Never is an occasion missed where I don’t find a happy little gift waiting at my front door to celebrate Spring or the holidays. That’s more than just renting a place. That’s a friend, which is why this feels so much more like home. And it’s eco-​friendliness is the real deal, a passionate commitment carried out in so many different ways, from composting, to supporting bike riding. I love the result, both on the environment and my monthly checkbook. I can’t recommend this place enough!

I would like to update that I got a settlement check in the mail from their «Sure Deposit» policy. Just to show that they are out to over charge.

I love living here. The location is amazing. The apartments are very nice inside– great appliances and has an eco industrial feel. The staff is very friendly and nice. The only negative thing I have to say is that they are raising our rent if we decide to sign another lease. These apartments are already on the more expensive side, so its hard when they raise rent for existing renters.
