Established in 2004.

Michael has been teaching private piano lessons since 2008, and playing music professionally since 2004. He works primarily in the jazz idiom, although he also has extensive performance experience with rock/​pop/​funk as well as classical music.

«Michael specializes in teaching Piano and Hammond B3 organ to middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults. He is able to tailor his teaching to the goals and interests of each student, drawing on his diverse musical background. He is well-​versed in jazz, blues, pop/​rock/​funk and classical, and is proficient on the organ bass pedals.

Michael graduated summa cum laude, with a degree in Piano Performance (Jazz Concentration), from the University of Southern Maine in 2013. In 2011, he was named Presser Scholar, awarded to one outstanding music major each year. Michael has studied with many acclaimed musicians including Thomas Snow, Laura Kargul, Ben Waltzer, and Vardan Ovsepian.»

As a pianist and Hammond B3 organist, Michael performs regularly in a number of settings, including weddings, nightclubs and live radio. He has played at numerous venues, including the State Theatre, Merrill Auditorium, and Port City Music Hall.
